Amelia followed after Lyra, keeping her eyes toward the floor, but looking around every once in a while.
Ness nodded and idly scratched the side of her head. "Well... y-yeah, if... if you want to, of course... I'm... fine either way...." She said before looking toward Jess. "I mean... just giving you kisses won't be enough if they start getting weaker... r-right?"

Lyra looked back to Axton. "Very well then. I'll send you to him once this is resolved."

she eventually led the group into what would undeniably be the living quarters of the vessel. they would see numerous doors closely spaced together, most open and showing a small room with a bed and a nightstand, with little else. Lyra would walk past these quickly. A few Predators would be in their rooms, most with the doors open. One or two would have hidden speakers blaring music, styles that were similar to techno or dubstep. One was playing classical music.

The hallway itself was decorated lightly, with a number of plants. it was also carpeted, with the carpet being easy on the feet if someone happened to not be wearing shoes.

Eventually, the elevator would pass the market, and ding at the exit. Thrall stepped out, and looked around the atrium that exited the building. "Shall we go then?" he asked.

Jess gulped nervously and tried to regain her semblance of confidence from before, though she glanced down towards the floor when she noticed Ness looking back at her. "W-Well... I suppose it'd be s-smart to d-diversify my portfolio... I-In case of inflation..." Goddammit!... Why did I go back to economics?!... She replied, still far more nervous than before.
Noticing Thrall moving again, Sibylla made to follow him. With the sight of the Market being gone, and now being back on solid ground, Sibylla's snakes appeared calm once again, which prompted a brief smile from Sibylla. She gently nodded to Thrall and replied, "Who knows how far them other fellers got already."

Amelia continued after and paused for a few moments as they passed the blaring music and winced, sticking her pinkies into her ears. Only when she noticed the classical music through the half-effective earplugging did she stop wincing. She didn't say much of anything but stood listening to it the best she could over the other music until she noticed she was falling behind the rest of the group and ran to catch up with them.
As Jess continued on and began to look down toward the ground, Ness blinked a bit before letting out a silent sigh and lightly hugging the catgirl from behind. "Jess... Calm down a bit... I know that... walk-in was unexpected, but you don't need to get all worked up, okay?" She said softly as she placed her chin on the other woman's shoulder. "You might want to lay off the econ books for a while too." She added with a joking tone.

Thrall looked, and thought. "They will have scattered, I do not doubt. We will look for places of battle. they will be there, I do not doubt."

"Alright cool." Axton said as he followed Lyra around.

Seras was still marveling at the fact that she was actually in a space ship, flying through space.

Lyra eventually led the group through the dorms, to a small door at the end of it. "I must ask you act with respect and care over the other side of this door. It is a place of memorial." she said to the group.

"A place of the fallen?" Fredrick said, then took of his Monical solemnly. "Of course we shall give our up most respect" He added, with a small nod.

Mary agreed with a small bow, and then did a "Cross my heart" with her left hand over her chest.

Amelia gave Lyra a quick nod and sighed a small bit. Right... Even these guys can lose some people... She paused for a moment before she took on a bit of a somber look.

Lyra nodded to the group, and opened the door.

Inside was the memorial, and the memorial was massive. All along the walls, with no space left over, hung masks. There were 10000 in all, each decorated in its own distinct way. Some looked ancient, aged and bronzed. Others looked as if they had rolled off the factory line a day ago, helmet still pristine and unscarred. They varied in size, color, design, and markings, but all had the symbol of a wolf howling on the forehead of the helm.

There was but one helm that was given space, and even that space was only a few inches. it was set on the far wall, so that those entering would see it first. The helmet was almost unremarkable in its design, but for the fact that it had two sections around where the mouth would have been burned slightly thinner, seeming like fangs.

There were a number of pews set up for people to sit, and at one near the front sat a brown skinned man. His armor was thin, and he had a massive shield and warhammer on his back. He sat, silently crying, holding a mask in his hands. Lyra slowly approached him, and settled a hand on his back. "You holding up okay Miguel?" he sniffed, and tried to pull himself together.

Amelia's eyes widened at the vast number of masks hanging all over the place. Noting the solitary man crying over the mask, she understood why they were there. She said nothing, but hung her head in respect.

Samus looked around the room, stunned for a moment at the sheer number of memorials. She stepped inside, looking at the crying man.

Miguel looked up at Lyra, and rubbed his face. "Sorry... I just..." Lyra patted his back. "Go to your room. Get some rest. I'll take vigil over the dead." he nodded, thankful, and handed Lyra the mask, walking to the exit. He refused to meet anyone in the eye as he left.

Lyra sat at the same spot Miguel had, and waved the group to sit down. "Quietest place on the ship to have this conversation. everybody sit down, and I'll tell you our history and how it involves you."

Seras thought it was strange to keep such an extensive memorial on a ship, but she didn't say anything out of respect.

Axton remained silent as he was pulled into mourning a bit himself.

Amelia sat down as requested, sitting with her knees forward and legs closed. ...It's quiet sure... but not exactly the ideal place for 'storytime', don't you think....? She thought to herself as she waited.

Lyra thought, before eventually speaking. "In our- by that I mean I and my people's- experiences, there is a thing called the great hunt. An event. It calls upon those across many universes. Why it does this, we do not know. how it does this, we do not know. We are certain it is not done by any noticeable force. you could say it was God, or Faith, or any such thing. All we are certain of is that it occurs. Each time it is called, the universe is troubled. During the first great hunt, a world was stripped of all life in one moment. A group, including my father, Dancing Blade, was called forth, and they fought honorably and reversed the deaths of all." she looked up at the mask with the applied fangs, and smiled, before looking down again, patting the mask. "There were two more great hunts in which we became involved. Both times, great problems, and both times there were great losses. from what we can tell, there have been others. People have called them events, singularities, disruptions, dissonances, all sorts of names. but one thing is for certain. Something is wrong in the universe you visited. It is up to you to find that problem and fix it."
