We Are Our Avatars VIII: Interdimensional Jaunt. (Closed up, thanks for playing.)

Claudio dug out a medstick, which looked like a simple black cylinder. He twisted it in his hands, causing several tron-esque lights to superimpose themselves on the cylinder, and cause the jagged edges of the now broken cylinder to glow blue. *this will hurt.* he warned, before jabbing both ens into the broken leg, aiming to pierce the skin.

"W-what is that?" Seras asked, getting a little nervous about the injection.

Axton reached the caff and looked around.

Amelia opened her mouth to ask the same thing, but as Claudio jabbed the stick into her, she winced and gritted her teeth at the sharp pain of the sudden entry into her skin. She took a few breaths as the pain throbbed in her leg for a bit.

Axton woild see the caf was pretty much deserted, with just the cook and the annoying Rak'thor present.

Amelia would feel pain for a moment more, followed by relief as the painkillers kicked in, along with an itching sensation as her bone was put back in place. Claudio removed the medstick then. *Give that a minute to heal, and we'll see how much pressure we can put on it.* he said conversationally. "Medical supplies to help your friend." he said to Seras.

Axton walked over and got some meat for himself, along with some veggies and something to drink.

Seras nodded a bit as she continued to look at Amelia's leg.

Amelia sighed a bit in relief as the painkillers kicked in and twitched a small bit as her bones were slowly mended. [color=ff7777] [small] "...Oh my... This is.. This feels... very weird... but I think it's working..." [/small] [/color] She said in a small voice as she waited for the odd sensations to cease.

"That would be perfect. And thank you for your time." Jess replied, bowing to Wheaton as she stood up from her seat. She turned back around to the elevator, and would take it down to the cafeteria if possible. Better tell Vanessa what's up first...

Wheaton gave Jessica a nod and as she got on the elevator, began talking on the phones. The catgirl's lift would descend after a bit of time and she'd see that getting to the cafeteria wouldn't be all that difficult as there was a directory on the side of the lift.

"Sarah, are you listening? I need you to find someone to give an... envoy a tour of the building... and I need you to start running some checks on a few organizations." A small pause... "Well, that's because...."

As Jess eventually made it to the cafeteria, Ness would be at a table nearby, head resting on the table with a half-sleepy expression on her face. The fedora girl hadn't seemed to notice the elevator had come down yet.

Seras crouched down a bit and tried to take Amalia's hand again. "It's going to be alright." she said in a reassuring tone.

Jessica pressed the button for the cafeteria and rested her arms behind her head as the elevator descended, humming along with the music if any were present, or just a random collection of notes if there wasn't any.
Stepping out of the elevator after it reached the cafeteria, she spotted Ness not seeming to notice the elevator arriving. A mischievous smile formed on her face as she attempted to quietly walk up to Ness and gently poke her on the opposite shoulder as her head was facing while she laid it on the table.

As she was poked, once again seeming not to notice any noise, Ness blinked twice before lazily turning her head toward the direction of the poker. [color=666666] "J-Jess?" [/color]

Amelia blinked as Seras held her hand, but she said nothing more, only nodding toward the woman as the strange brew continued its work.

"Do you...feel better yet?" Seras asked Amelia.

Claudio stepped back. "That should be all you need to worry about. please stand for me?"

Samus, not really hungry for now, merely sat down at an empty table.

"Watching your figure?" Axton asked as he sat near Samus.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"No. My metabolism's been altered, I don't need to eat that much."

"Lucky. Still, never pass up a free meal. First rule of being a soldier."

Samus considered this for a moment before getting up and going to the selection, and returning to the table with a full plate of strange meats.

Axton smiled as he saw this. "That's a lesson you learn pretty quick when you're stuck in a trench with nothing to eat but rocks, dirt, and spend shell casings."

"Or stuck in space with only ration bars and recycled water." Samus added as she took a bite.
