Another few explosive bullets and Axton received yet another smoking spider corpse. With all the spiders dead, the group would see that they had shot more than a few of the plantlife, leaving the cavern now dully lit. The way they had came laid behind them and the way the small boy had taken Danielle laid in front of them. Danielle's flashlight was on the ground, luckily not punctured with bullet holes.

Seras continued to cling to her face and crawl away from the spiders.

Link picked up the flashlight and looked towards the others wounds a second before dashing off towards the small boy. They would be okay by themselves. Plus he didn't know anything past a very very basic first aid in medical terms.

As Axton walked over to help Seras up, he would look around for JD to see where he had gone off to.

Jess didn't pay much attention to the last arrival onto the elevator, other than to shoot them an irritated glance like one would usually do to someone who held up your elevator ride by getting on as the doors were closing.

As Link rushed down the hole the boy had dropped in, he'd find he was on another muddy slide, going pretty fast. Once he hit the bottom, he'd see the boy standing in the center of a dry room and what looked like a small opening up above them. Danielle was laying by his feet, still unconscious.

JD would be nowhere in sight in the room. The plants being the only source of light now, the way back was pretty dark.

Slowly but surely, the elevator rose up. It let people off on the second floor and took a few more in before rising to the third floor. The area seemed to change a bit, most of the stores looking more like walk-in schools. Multiple people, most young and some old were milling around in uniforms as the elevators doors opened up. The redhead witch would be wearing a matching uniform as she stepped off with a huff and began to walk off. Ness walked off the elevator and turned toward the direction of the magic device shop. [color=666666] "Um..." [/color] She paused for a moment before looking toward Jess as she walked. [color=666666] "You said you couldn't use natural-user stuff... but aren't you a natural user of magic? Why can't you use those spellbooks and whatever?" [/color]

Jess stepped off the elevator and stood alongside Ness. "My powers are psychic in nature, not magical. I can't learn to use any sort of magic because I don't have any connection to external magical energies. I can only do things that my brain intuitively can using my own psychic energy. So I could read over a spell-book, but actually trying to use any spells from it wouldn't get me anywhere. It'd be like reading a book on knot-tying and then realizing you don't have any arms to actually tie knots with." She explained to Ness, then started casually moving towards the store she had picked out, starting slow and picking up speed when Ness followed. "Using enchanted items and magic devices isn't beyond me though."

Axton helped Seras over to a wall and leaner her against it. After a quick examination, he determined that she would be fine. Even still, he insisted that she not going walking around right now, so he sat next to her.

Samus, having freed herself from the webbing by now, walked over to Axton and Seras. "Are you two alright?"

[color=666666] "I guess I understand that." [/color] Ness stated, putting a hand to her chin. [color=666666] "I don't really understand the distinction between psionic energy and magical energy. They mainly seem the same to me... though then again, I'm not exactly well versed in magic, so that's probably unfounded." [/color] She said with a small sigh. [color=666666] "Wait.... does using magic items actually take magical ability as well? I thought the item ran on its own internal power source? ...At least from what you showed me way back when we first met." [/color]She asked next, raising an eyebrow as she did.

As they walked to the store, Jess would see a large gaudy sign reading out "Gerry's Magic Gadgets" in large block font. There was a chubby, but jolly looking witch standing outside with a sign displaying special sales, most seemed centered around boosting inherent abilities.

"I'm fine. She's gonna need a minute though." Axton said as he tilted his head toward Seras.

She had two holes in her face and looked pretty out of it at the moment.

Samus nodded, then looked at the hole they others had travelled through. "Hopefully they'll be alright by themselves for a while. At least one of us will have to wait here."

"I don't think we should be splitting up any more than we are already. Have you seen the shadow guy or the other girl?" Axton asked, not knowing where Danielle had gone.

Seras continued to be slumped against a wall, twitching slightly while looking at the ground.

"You don't have any healing stuff, do ya?" Axton asked Samus as he looked from Seras back to her.

"I saw Link pick up the flashlight and go down that hole. He probably saw the others going down there and decided to follow. And no, I don't have any healing items I'm afraid."

Axton nodded a bit. Seras seemed to mumble something, but it was almost impossible to make out. When Axton leaned in closer, he seemed to be listening for a moment before slowly moving away. He seemed to stare at Seras for a long minute before holding out his arm in front of her face. "If she kills me, do something about it, won't cha?" he said to Samus before wincing as Seras bit into his arm and started to suck at it.

"What do you-WOAH!" Samus backed off as Seras bit into Axton's arm, raising her cannon.

Seras wasn't being particularly violent, and was in fact being quite gentle.

"Take it easy. I'm not dead yet." Axton said to Samus as Seras continued her sucking. Pretty soon she pulled away and her face was completely healed. Due to his own advanced healing, Axton's wound started to close up rapidly as well. "There. All fixed and looking pretty again. No scars either." he said as he pulled Seras to her feet and slapped her on the shoulder.

"Thank you." she said as she gave him a small smile.

Samus lowered her cannon, slightly embarrassed. "Well... good to see everyone's alright..."

"We might as well try and get a move on now." Axton said as he walked over the the hole.
"Can either of you see down there?" he asked the girls.

When Seras peered down into the darkness she was able to see it was a slide much like the other one. "It looks like we'll have to slide down here if we want to meet up with the others." she said.

"I'll go first. I have the most firepower." Samus said, stepping up to the hole.
