The woman turned, and nodded to one of the computer technicians. the hologram of the whirlpool changed to an image of an underwater city, glowing with inner light.

You'll have to watch out for a lot of things- drugged up citizens who can't tell you from the local demons, men in giant diving suits, the occasional lightning shooting magician- but if this was going to be easy, we wouldn't need you." she glanced at Seras, and shook her head. "One of the main rules of our weaponry is that if it can easily be taken off of you, and its higher tech than what the culture you're visiting has discovered, its not allowed. The Gerbillian's hamster ball would be nigh impossible for them to take from him, but your gun could be dropped, put down, or easily lost in a way that could supply them with a hugely inappropriate technological leap. We can supply you with era accurate weaponry however, so that keep you from being helpless."

Seras frowned at what the woman said. "Well, alright. What sort of weapons will they have then?" she said, though she wasn't very happy.
"Sorry, but I won't just leave my guns behind before going somewhere so dangerous. So I guess I won't be going." Blondie said casually as he didn't even look at the woman, instead looking around the room just as casually.

Having kept silent for now, Ness blinked a bit at the what the woman said. [color=666666] "Seeing as I can just recall my weaponry, I should be fine...." And I'm certainly not fond of my things being in the hands of other people... [/color]

the woman looked at Samus coolly. "When your tech is the equivalency of a taser that could be stolen from you, and cause a near 500 year jump in technology, yes. I'm sorry Miss Aran, but you won't be able to bring your weapon along." she nodded to Blondie. "Very well then. If you'll be so kind as to see your friends off, we'll ensure an escort for you to get back to the dorms." she gestured to a door in the back of the office when she heard Seras' question. "We have a number of machine guns, pistols, grenade launchers, shotguns and rifles that are analogous to the weapons present in Rapture. Included are a number of more... esoteric weapons. You may pick from the offered tools."
Seras nodded as she thought that might be okay.
"Well...does this look too advanced?" Blondie asked, slowly drawing his revolver and showing to the woman.

The woman frowned when Blondie presented the weapon. "I don't see why that wouldn't be an acceptable weapon." she then looked to Samus. "This is not a debate. You either don't bring your weapon along, or you get to stay here and wait for people who are risking their lives to protect others that you wouldn't join." she said, staring at her.

Seras went where the weapons were suppose to be. She would observe all the weapons that were available.

Samus didn't looked pleased, but she took the holster with her weapon inside off her leg and placed it on a nearby desk. "Nobody touches it." She went over to the door, opening it and taking a look at the armoury.
Franky lazily waited for everyone else to get what they needed, knowing that he didn't need to look over the weapons. He looked at one monitor as Samus was talking. 'Rather pushy ain't she?' He snickered.
The armory was loaded with all the weapons the woman had stated were there, along with a few harpoon guns, a massive rivet gun, a ridiculously huge machine gun, and a drill most normal people would be unable to lift. there were also several blunt objects, along with several well made swords and axes. There was enough ammunition for anyone that wanted to collect the weapon to ensure they wouldn't run out of ammunition anytime soon. there was also body armor available, although it was somewhat simplistic, being made with 1950's style of technology. The woman who had walked them in, and watched the group. there was another door, opposite the one that led the group into the armory.
Samus was momentarily stunned as she saw the available weaponry. "These people still use ballistics?! How primitive is their tech?" She took the harpoon gun, looking it over, holding it as if it was no heavier than a pistol. "This will do for now." She also took a machine gun, some body armour, and as much ammo as the body armour could store.
