Previously:
Hearing Serah's mentioning of the rules, Gideon frowned at the various things that were considdered legal.
Shit, these guys can't make up their minds. Rules and regulations one moment, and allowing all that the next? Noting the mention of magic and technology being incompatible, he looked suprised, as the two were interchangable in his home universe. Setting the thoughts aside, he made a mental note to not take any pieces of technology he might get his hands on into magic enclaves.

Presently:
Gideon spent a time going over things in silence, and only when Serah asked if there were more questions, did he look up again.
"Yeah, here's one." He began, raising his left hand slightly.
"Don't suppose it'd be possible to have the money I have on me now to be converted into whatever you might use here?" After asking that, he looked down for a brief momet, before looking back up again, and as an afterthought, adding,
"Oh. And I'd also like to go to one of the more quiet parts of town. Don't really care if it's going't be on the tech or magic side." He thought about living amongst those that could read minds, not trusting Serah's word that they wouldn't pry into things they shouldn't, but upon remembering Espeon saying it couldn't read Gideon's mind, assumed the same would apply to other telepaths.
