Later that day ...
Part Two: Tristitia
She was shot, while her weapons lay on the ground.
The sentence would not leave his head.
Why? What reason do they have in this world? By all that is holy and unholy, not even I would do that.
"Hey, are you coming or not?" the elf called to him.
"There is work to be done."
He looked up. The others were already walking through the portal. On this side, reinforcements stood ready.

- Portal Station -
Evening
Six people walked through the portal. One of them the guards knew, it was the woman with the strange clothing and the red hair who had appeared at the peak of the anomaly.
There were two more women, one in a white and modest dress, looking around curiously and fearful, and one in a blue and quite revealing outfit, although it was a dress as well. She looked bored.
The modest woman held the arm of a big man with white skin and red hair. He wore ornamented armour and had a greatsword of the same material on his back. Two men walked in behind all of them. One had green skin, long ears, and was not wearing much. The other, however, wore full black armour, a helmet and skulls hanging on a girdle. The only indication of him being a man being how he was built - and how he spoke:
"I'm gonna rip out the throat of whoever is responsible for White's death."
The red-haired man scowled back at him, then spoke to the guards:
"I apologize. There was a diplomatic incident."
The green elf spit on the ground, but kept quiet.
"..."
The red-haired, armless woman added: "We'll need to close of this area, and use it as a temporary base. Travelers will be provided with an alternative way of travel.
We don't wish you any harm, that means, you can either stay here, guarding us, or walk away. There won't be much to do for you."
"Yeah, yeah, all that stuff." The black, helmet-wearing man said, gesturing dismissively. The blue woman just winked at a guard.
"One thing, though: I want to speak with your king, representative, president, or whatever it is that reigns you." The man said.
"I am Emperor Krovis."
