Dalahar Tresh, known as the Siege Breaker, was a former consul in the Word Beaers legion. Specialising in siege and void warfare his position in battles and their brutal nature made him cold man, on the battlefield some said he felt nothing.
Appearance wise his head is shaven and has colchisian runes tattooed on one side. His face is battered and scarred archer centuries of war but had he not been an astartes he would have been handsome at some point. The armour he wears is mk IV maximus power armour, forged expertly and until recently decorated with finery and seals. The armour is red with a silver trim. The face plate of the helmet is silver however and odd areas of decoration are solid brass and gold. As a Gal Vorbak he can become possessed by the entity within him, warping his body into a monstrous shape that follows no reason or logic.
In the past Dalahar was seen as uncaring and distant, the long years of war pushing him further and further away from any source of content. After his banishment he is dejected and lost. The gene seed of the Word Bearers still influences his personality in that his belief and will are unshakable as his hunger for a cause which he can believe in. The idea of independence doesn't appear to him yet. Space marines being designed to work in squads. Surprisingly Dalahar has a good sense of humour and a bit of levity about him to those he has been close to. His outward appearance a facade and example to men under his command, how he believes all should countenance themselves in battle. At present he is unstable in his mental state, not wishing to return but can't see what purpose may lie for him here but there may be something now.
Proficient in brawling and using his strength he isn't an honourable duellist like other marines. Preferring to use a dagger pair, coupled with his speed and strength to be a fighter who gets
To grips with his enemies. For ranged combat he has several grenades of two types, the anti infantry frag and the anti armour krak. He has an archaic volkite charger as a primary weapon. Closes comparison it is more like a carbine than a Bolter, having no stock and being stubby. It fires rays of superheat the deflagrate the targets it hits, causing them combust explosively. All his enhanced strength is augmented by his power armour leading to a brutal and cunning fighter. He is no fool and quiet observant, being a consul of his legion. Word Bearers tactics rely on unrelenting assault and overwhelming however this mind set has been tapered by his time in the Alpha Legion where he learned the subtlety of war. He knows when to strike and when to fold. Currently has little control over his daemon half, leaving the ability quiet useless as it is pure animal instinct without any logic or tact to taper it. Transformed he is still horrendously strong and monstrously
Dangerous.
His size can be seen as a weakness, as can his weight. His is neither inconspicuous nor quiet. He has little skill outside of combat or combat related abilities aside from an studious mind and a slightly above average level of public speaking. All word bearers were trained to do just that, bear the word of truth wherever they fought. No long range weapons, limiting his reach in combat. His mental state
Is far from ideal at the moment. Space marines need combat to calm them for if they were to dwell on or question their actions they would surely go mad. He wrestles internally with guilt, shame, purposeless, futility and the beast within him. His armour is formidable but anything that can pierce it removes a great deal of his advantages in combat.
He is hugely heavy, even more so when transformed and so will fall through many flimsy structures, sink in bodies of water etc.
Deep down he has a desire to find a worthy cause and take up arms, to focus his mind and find a truth he can believe in.
