Fernand sighed, and said: I hope they don't just lead her to her death. Where are her human rights?"

Shortly after, the green elf arrived near Ella.

Red and Green would leave the prison building soon after. "We need to find this Ella then." Green stated. "You know, maybe the one wanting to talk with Anik?"
He went straight to her. "Greetings."

Red joined with Black near Dalahar.

 

[Kirke]

" " - She said, before switching back to English; "How may I be of assistance?"

 

[Vakra jal]

"I owe her and the others here a debt. I've fought beside her in battle. The person she was protecting was someone who I threatened with my inability to control the daemon in me at the time. I feel obliged to these people" he states

"Merde." Fernand said.

"Are you an officer of XPOL ... might you be called Ella?" Green asked her.

"A daemon? Well ... can you control this daemon now?"

"Well, there's an additional reason besides learning to become a more capable fighter. It's that I wanted to learn if there's any merit to some of the reports about feral Fenrir. I've been a bit too hesitant in trying to tackle combat in fear of becoming feral. Even though the data shows a placebo effect."

"Barely. And I wouldn't call it control. It's more.......honest in its desires than I am. But it's ignorant to call such a being evil" he explained

"If that's something you're wondering about, couldn't you just look into psychological studies of combat or peacekeeping personal, back on your planet?"

Yauna, who had exited the prison upon learning Anik couldn't receive visitors, looked at Dalahar curiously when he said he had a daemon within him.

"Correct, on both accounts. May I ask who you are?" - Ella replied, in the steady and neutral tone of voice she used when acting fully as a cop.

Nina reached into her pocket and pulled out the wad of cash that Edward had left her. She mulled over how much she had left for a few moments before pulling out a few bills, then holding out the rest to the shopkeeper, the amount she held being a little over $200. Red, and supposedly Black, exchanged glances. Black laughed, then. "Well, it's not ever that simple, is it?"

"You may call me Green." Green said. "I'm investigating a death and a fugitive."

"No it never is." Dalahar admitted. "What do you want with Ella? Something about the fight yesterday?"

The shopkeeper was a little surprised by this small child being loaded, but handed the ring over, regardless. "It can take some time before the effects become noticeable, so don't worry if you can't do much at first." she said.

"The Nuclear Winter Clan doesn't really consist of soldiers. We're engineers, historians, political activists. We have our fusion ability, but that's mostly used to help power things. With that said, Kuki began taking the variety of samples from the man, converting these to data, having Fernand hold them higher or lower as they worked.

"And we're done! Thanks again."

When either the man or Fernand began walking away, Kuki looked up to Fernand, saying,

"that was informative! I'd like to talk to more of thse Vesh'Rah, but we can go to this place you wanted to visit, first."

"Huh. It seems strange there haven't been more studies on this. All things considered, you'd think this should be a bigger deal"

, Kuki mused.

Finishing their meal, they retracted their feeder, and shoved the bowl aside, but kept sitting under the chair.

"So, what's the verdict, so far?"

 

[Kirke]

"I believe you've found the fugitive already, so this is about the death of one miss 'White', correct?" - Ella sighed and continued; "I can make sure the reports on the incident are available to you at the dimensional port. Beyond that, the matter will be investigated by the local judiciary and any potential punitive measures will be handled by XPOL. I assure you, we take usage of lethal violence very seriously."

"It's no trouble, really." Fernand said, but walked up to an automail store, inspecting the wares. "Just state if you want to get back to talk to more."

"Yes." Black said. "We want to find out who shot the last shot, and who gave the order."

"Yes." Green confirmed, then answered her after she had finished talking: "I'm afraid it's not that simple. Legally speaking from my side, killing someone using non-lethal force to try to apprehend a fugitive is an act of war.

But honestly, I don't want that. So ... we would be even if you gave us the name of the killer, and we would see them to justice. Otherwise, nothing will happen, aside from cooperation with you to send people back to their homeworlds. We can not trust you do the justice on one of your own, especially since we don't know who gave the order to kill in the first place."

She shrugged. "Well, I can't really say much seeing as how I haven't drawn blood yet."

"All things considered, it is a big deal. Maybe it's that we trust the placebo study enough to know that the ferality claims are false, but it's just me being not necessarily sure."
