"Just a little brawl resulting from an ill-advised attempt to close the portal. No need to worry now, we came to a peaceful solution, but bursting in with guns may rock the boat a little too much." Yauna replied, with a small smile. "And, no, I don't require medical attention. I can bear the pain for long enough to sort myself out, most likely much more efficiently than you can. No offence intended, of course."

Candace looked to Nina, worried for her. "Say if you need anything, alright?" With that, she followed Yauna back to the hotel, in time for Dala to spot her.

Hotel, Later On

Yauna would head up to Candace's room, potentially leaving Candace behind while Dala spoke with her, and would sit down on the bed. Once she did so, she began meditating, the end result of this being a grim-looking tome bound in what seemed like human flesh appearing in her lap. She flicked through the tome, while talking to the air in an infernal language. After around a minute, Yauna's broken arm was surrounded by fire and twisted itself into a normal shape, causing Yauna to scream loudly.

Elsewhere In Montreal

The reptilian fellow would find his solitude suddenly interrupted by a blonde woman wandering into the alleyway, dragging a man behind her. The woman was wearing a black leather jacket, over a black top and a red skirt, with a pair of red and white canvas shoes poking out from underneath. Around her neck was a black choker and her right eye was covered by an eyepatch. Furthermore, her ears were covered with piercings, both rings and studs, and her left middle finger also bore a metal ring, in the shape of a dragon skull.

In her left hand was a white cane, topped by a red dragon skull, which appeared to be slightly splattered with blood. Her right hand was gripping the collar of a man who was dressed all in black, with a balaclava on his bloody head.

The mystery woman, upon seeing the reptilian, froze. [color=660099]"Oh, this alley seems to be occupied. Looks like you got yourself a stay of execution, buddy."[/color] she informed the man, who passed out from pain in an happy way. [color=660099]"So, who've we got here?"[/color] she asked, now addressing the reptile.

 

[Kirke]

"And what does that peaceful solution entail?" - The lieutenant asked suspiciously. He was not a trusting man by nature, even less so these days with extradimensionals running around like they were the authority. The medic who was standing beside him coughed, saying that she was quite skilled with healing magic.

 

[Silence]

Dala walked up to Candace. [color=e50000]"Hey.
... I just remembered what you did want to do after the fight, and I promised you an alternative. I feel kinda guilty for just leaving like that. Damn my hotbloodedness."[/color]

Portal Station

"I've been asked to ensure the woman who led the charge here not bother the people on the other side of the portal again. Non-violently, of course." Yauna replied, utilising a lifetime of practice at lying to ensure she was believed. She would then tell the healer, "I don't doubt your proficiency, but I feel I'd present a case unlike any you've encountered before."

 

[Vakra jal]

It hissed and raised itself to his feet. Bearing it's teeth and expanding its wings, which clipped the sides of the alley. It's struggled and then collapsed again with a grunt. It's outer scales were a deep brown in colour while those on the underside of its body and neck were a murky orange. Several of the horns on its head had wrappings and bands of metal stylised onto them. The tip of its tail was sheathed in an ornate silver housing fashioned as a blade. Around its jaws was the remains of some sort of muzzle, melted and ruined and now dangling loosely from its fixtures on the side of its head while its forelegs and hind legs were bound together by bone coloured shackles, same colour as the muzzle and appearing extremely advanced. Around his neck was a less sophisticated collar albeit beautiful in appearance, speaking of some sort of grandeur along with the other precious metals that adorned the beast. From the floor its hummed a low tune, alternating pitch occasionally. Half a second later the collar emitted the voice of a young man, sounding bearly 19. "Stay away from me human. Whoever did this, whatever. It means war. You humans can't take me. This is war"

Elsewhere In Montreal

[color=660099]"Unless you're some kinda criminal type, I have precisely zero interest in taking you. Both in the detaining sense or in the sexual sense."[/color] the woman replied, as she tossed her captive against the wall. Her visible eye focused on the various ornate metals covering the reptilian man, and after a short pause she asked, [color=660099]"You're not a dragon because you're neither building-size nor ordering me around... but you do look the part somewhat. So who and what are you? I'll start; my name is Zevrisya and I'm a sanguiholic."[/color]

After introducing herself, Zevrisya turned her attention to the human man and proceeded to bludgeon him to death with her cane. Despite her facing a different direction, the reptilian would feel like her gaze remained on him.

"Well, that was a stupid waste of time." Nina followed after Candace. Once they were back at the hotel, she said to Candace, "You still interested in me helping you out?"

When Dala showed up, she rolled her eyes and said, "So, how tired are your legs?"

 

[Vakra jal]

He hummed another tune. "Faa. I am called Faa." He snorted mid way through humming "most humans always mention dragons when they see us. I am from Scathis. That makes me one of the Scath."
His bright yellow eyes narrowed slightly as the man is beaten by Zevrisya. He kept his composure he'd been through a lot in his short life and this was something he'd seen, albeit Scath vs Scath rather than Hrem vs Hrem. Without using the translator function of the collar he said "Zevrisya" in a voice non too dissimilar to that which the collar spoke with, a sharp and well spoken voice, haggard by inexperience and doubt.

[color=660099]"It's probably on account of you looking kinda like them. At least I assume, I'm not that kind of psychic."[/color] Zevrisya said, licking the blood from the dragon head on her cane. [color=660099]"So, you mentioned war. What happened to you, exactly?"[/color] Zevrisya asked, turning back to Faa.

Candace looked to Nina, then Dala. "I... I appreciate both offers but..." She looked down, then back up to Dala. "May I have a private word?"

 

[Silence]

Dala chose to ignore Nina.

[color=e50000]"Sure. We can ... go around the corner, or where do you want to speak?"[/color] she answered Candace.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"A private room would probably be best." Candace told her, leading Dala inside.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Wow, okay, rude. Didn't anyone ever teach you manners?" She didn't bother following Candace and Dala inside. Whelp, guess we're stuck waiting. Might as well practice a bit... She sat down on the ground cross-legged, pressed the palms of her hands against the ground, and closed her eyes.

 

[Vakra jal]

"I've seen brief images of this world, what happens here. Of somebody took me from Scathis no matter the truth my father will think the humans did it. He will be furious and then of course he is the King" he hummed once more. He didn't like the Htem word 'king' it was something that they really had no translation for.

 

[Silence]

Dala followed Candace. Glancing back at Nina, she let out a [color=e50000]"I don't bother with people who start with rudeness."[/color]

 

[Kirke]

The lieutenant glared at Yauna, and replied; "Yeah, well, if you see that armless woman tell her that we want to talk to her. And in the future, stay out of trouble. We'll get you home as soon as we can." He then retired to the police barricades, which was maintained. They was word that high command was sending something special to help resolve the situation, but that wouldn't arrive for several hours as it was being flown in from the HQ in Tokyo. In the meantime, most of the regular police had to go deal with other duties but there was still a sizeable contingent surrounding the portal station.

Zevrisya clipped the cane to her hip, then sighed. [color=660099]"Looks like the locals got themselves into a lot of trouble. Honestly, can't say I blame your father if he did go and start an interdimensional or interplanetary war."[/color] After a few moments of silent thought, she continued, [color=660099]"You want a hand getting those shackles and muzzle off?"[/color]

Blue thought about what to do outside the portal decision, then decided to head to one of the XPOL officers she had blown a kiss to.
