Scathis, Aeyrie, Capital city, midday
Gha'Deldur'ha'ona was curled up in his study. Adorned with a grand cloak of regal fashion and bearing a platinum circlet, the huge ruler of Scathis was in full attire befitting his station. Near ever inch of scales featuring some ornamentation of some kind. Each pendant and medallion, bracer and band representing an oath sworn to lead. Indeed one might view the opulent dress as one of extravagance but in truth it represents the bondage of leadership, to remind the ruler of their place......to show any Scath who would challenge them why they bore the title Deldur'ha'ona.
Gha was feeling the strain presently. With the disappearance of his son and heir his ability had been called into question, so soon after a recent challenge as well. He couldn't keep it secret long. Whether or not the people were attached to their prince was not the question. It showed weakness, inability to protect family. Eyes would turn to the Hrem......Gha couldn't stifle a call for war if that happened. No proof would be enough for the blood hungry Barons.
He sighed as a slender, black Scath slunk into the room, slightly larger than he was.
"Fel'a luu be'phon. Be'phon suuk" he mumbled and gazed out of the huge archway. The red and scarred landscape of Scathis filling his vision.
The other Scath remained stern as she gazed at Gha. She wore nothing but dull silver bracelets that stood out against the deep and consuming black of her scales. "He will be okay" she said dispassionately. "Even if they found out, you can stifle the mob for a time. We didn't raise an heir who couldn't look out for himself"
Gha looked into his partners eyes now, the light blue abyss that burned in her eye sockets a gaze even he cannot hold. He averted his eyes. The other Scath was quiet suprised by this. When Gha remained silent the other Scath bowed gracefully "Yek'ur, Deldur'ha'ona. Ana'k tzek gy vor" she said before leaving the large room again.
Gha grunted and turned his gaze back out of the window. "Tzek gy vor..Ana'ur ullkra gy vor" he mumbled under his breath
