"I don't own any tighter clothing, so you'll have to find something for me. Though, if we're already invisible and getting teleported there, we don't have much reason to go on the ethereal plane." Yauna replied.

"My plane shift spell takes only a couple of seconds to cast, and takes effect instantly once completed." Yauna reminded Blue. "We just need to all be holding hands in a circle, Anik included." As Yauna explained this, she undressed and then redressed in the new set of clothes.

Factories were present on the edge of the city, alongside docks and shipyards.

"In the interest of haste, then, I'd suggest we co-ordinate the hand holding now." Yauna replied, extending both of her hands out. "That aside, I'm ready."

Another was owned by the telecommunications company that made the pay phones, standing out due to the Earth Chinese characters in the company's name.

Candace looked at the Chinese characters. "Hmm... Aren't those from the world we just left? I remember seeing similar sybols on a... Menu, I think it was, in the hotel."

Anik panicked further. "But I was getting out of here soon anyways! Why should I try to escape?! They said I would be safe here!"
Blue, thinking it might be better if she kept quiet to not let Anik hear her voice, kept quiet.

They may have compromised XPOL and as such you can't trust them unless you're sure they haven't been controlled." Yauna said. And considering the weaponry they seem to be surrounding you with... I think that leaving is the safest option."

When Anik screamed, the guard patrolling outside came running. He opened a hatch in the door and looked inside. "What's going on in there?" When he heard another voice, he looked confused. The loudspeakers then said, with a slightly synthetic tone; "Red alert! Intrusion detected on level four, cell block eight."
Beside the red light on the camera, a much stronger lamp activated, giving off a purple glow. The cell was bathed in UV light, and the two turrets powered up, turning towards the invisible group of people and preparing to fire.
The guard outside the door swore and prepared his own rifle.
