Shana would learn about the first known contact with interdimensionals; an incident in Tokyo, Japan. Two groups of interdimensionals had become involved in a conflict, one group merfolk and another more varied. The merfolk had attempted to take over, and sink, the city. However, thanks to the assistance of the other interdimensionals, including some diplomacy, the attempt had been thwarted. The merfolk were noted to be living in the waters around an uninhabited island.
The book would also contain what information was on record, from interviews and such, about the interdimensionals. The majority of the information was on Joel and the other automail engineers, an alien woman known as Phaesan who had worked with XCOM in its early days, and on the more hostile interdimensionals such as a company known as Desperado.
Meanwhile, Zev was perusing the library's trashy vampire romance fiction.

Shana's look was intense as she sat at a table nearby the freshly searched section of the library. Her brow furled under the mystery. She leaned against her hand and tapped her forehead.
"Is that it? No names?" She thought out loud, at low volume. "After all this time wondering I'm still at a dead end. I figured they might have recorded names of the first people to cross such a boundary. But this is minimal. Still..." She scanned the sentences again. "Could the one in the maid outfit be the Electric Blue Fairy? Both are the same color but, the fairy has been told to wear a ballet tutu, not a maid uniform." But then something clicked, and she could hardly contain her excitement. "Ah! But this description matches the identity of the one known as Emily Mason. One of four to have defeated the Dark Being. If she was here, then there is no doubt that she must have gained the knowledge about universe jumping somehow. The disappearance of Emily near the end of her life was always thought be shrouded in mystery. Now I know for sure who she really is."
She made a sigh of disdain.
"But this information is useless outside of my universe. No one really cares about this information but me. I might as well record a citation and passage in my computer, and ask for a photocopy of this page. My universe must know the truth." She went to work recording the details in her computer and went to go search for a photocopier.

"Well, if I can't copy a page, I'll buy a copy of the book. Ah well... I can at least write down the ISBN." She typed it into her computer, and made a note for herself to find a copy at a book store. She made her way to the bookshelf where the book originated and set it back in place. She sighed.
"There's nothing more I can do." She said, now moving towards the library's front desk. She would wait for Zev.
