Shana followed suit, although she took a few deep breaths before taking a leap of faith.

"Oh myyyy gooooooooooo-aaaaaahhh!" She yelped in half excitement half a mild terror, the same feeling on a roller coaster. After the count of ten in her head, she pulled the chord. The jolt of the parachute shook her a bit, but she took a few breaths before reassessing what was around her.

"Well, that's good. Unless they don't have enough parachutes." I say as I watch the first passenger of the doomed aircraft bail out and start drifting to the ground. I do my best to judge where the person will land and head that way.

Cybil and Nova managed to get their parachutes on rather quickly, with Sylvia lagging behind as she seemed to need to watch others before she knew how to do so herself.

"Is jumping out of this thing really a good idea?"

Cybil jumped out of the plane without hesitation. Nova waited at the door and breathed deeply in and out, then pushed Sylvia out before jumping herself.

"More chutes. Hopefully these folks are friendly. My Smith and Wesson can only do so much." I say as I look up at the sky. "Shouldn't be hard to find one alone and get a little information before meeting the whole crew." I look and see if any of the parachutists are obviously going to land all by their lonesome.

 

[Silence]

Sarah jumped out of the Skyranger and - did not open her parachute. Instead, she activated the jet thrusters in her boots and gloves, and flew upwards again, looking down, watching whoever was standing down on the ground and observing them.

"Well, now this feels a little awkward." I mutter as somebody with jets on their hands and feet look down at me. Once again fearing hostilities might break out, I try to make myself look nonthreatening by waving my arms at the figure. "They probably think I'm a total putz now, but that's better than being shot at." I say as I perform this action.

The shrouded figure recognised the plummeting jets. He set off after his companion. "Hold back!" He said easily catching up with large strides "we will take a good look from there" he said pointing to a slight rise of the barren land.

Faa bails out the back of the sky ranger but a last minute jerk of the vehicle catches his right wing with some force and dislocates the limb. Faa shrieks in pain as agony bolts through him, making him tumble awkwardly towards the ground. With a snarl as he forced the injured wing to do its best to slow his descent. He was able to do so but the pain was almost unbearable to keep the wing extended. He made sure to stick as close to the others descending as possible.

Below the falling passengers a single figure was set against a rock, waiting for them to land

"Well, being standoffish at this point is only going to make us look even stranger. I'm just a concerned bystander. No reason to try and hide, right? Unfortunately you're a bit more... Conspicuous. But hey, you can keep me covered if you want." I say to the big lug next to me.

Zev nodded, then rushed forward and leapt out of the Skyranger. She counted to ten, then pulled on the cord hard as instructed, causing the parachute to unfurl behind her. Now feeling safer, she began to drift down to the Earth, looking out at the world around her.

The shrouded figure shrugged. "Combat blades don't provide the most effective cover fire..........we shall head over and see if they survive"

"Right. Well just be your normal cheerful self if they are alive and we should be fine." I say with a not-very-sincere smile.

Skyranger​

After all the other passengers had jumped out, Ella radioed; "Pilots, open the other ramp and prepare to jump! Prince Faa, are you ready?"

"My wing!, it's hurt!" He said "but I can make it I will make it" he grunted having been forced back into the sky ranger by the air currents against his damaged wing.

The shrouded figure chuckles slightly. "Amusing. I shall do my best to contain my rampant enthusiasm"

Candace finished dressing, then brewed herself a of tea for the road, offering one to Dala.

Reinhardt jumped with the others, laughing in the brief ten seconds of free fall, enjoying the free skydive before popping the chute.

Lambda, after the events at the portal station, had been called to assess Faa personally. But when they started heading out, she came with, acting as shrink and pilot. Now she was seriously regretting her desicion, opening the ramp and grabbing a parachute near her just in case her antigravity didn't do the trick.

Dala gladly accepted it - then meekly asked Candace to carry it for her.

[sub]"I don't. But you should not be here. I'm just waiting until I ... no, I'm just ... I can't say.
I must play guard, you should not even know it's me.

And ... she knows I'm talking to you. She always has a connection."[/sub] Anik replied, trying to say something without really saying it.

"Wonder if they'll be landing any time soon." I say at I watch the group lazily drift toward the ground.

Candace rolled her eyes, but carried the cup without complaint. "How long until you get the arms?"

Skyranger​

Once Ella had confirmation that Faa and the two pilots in that Skyranger were clear, she told the two pilots standing beside her to bail as well. The pilots of both aircraft had taken the black boxes, and on the other one the self-destruct was already ticking down. Activating the self-destruct on the one she was on, Ella took a deep breath and then stepped out into the void. After falling for ten seconds, she pulled her chute and began looking around to see where the others were landing.
