"Similar how? You don't know much about me." I ask prying further still.

"In look and name." Lambda told him.

"Really? That's very interesting. Tell me more about this person, please."

 

[Slenn]

"I hate to chime in, Taner, but you sound like you've been around hopping universes."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"How do you mean, miss...?" I ask the woman intruding into my conversation.

 

[Slenn]

"Ah, I'm sorry, it's just... Lambda said you looked similar to someone she knew. Oh! My rudeness, I'm sorry. My name is Shana."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Dr Leonard Jerome Taner, nice to meet you. I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this mystery myself. I've never left my home dimension before now." I say, trying to not sound annoyed.

 

[Slenn]

"Then I'll let you continue. Again, my apologies for interrupting."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Well, now I feel rude. I didn't mean to exclude you. I'm just very enthusiastic about psychology." I say apologetically.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"He was another doctor of the mind. He helped me through some difficult times." Lambda told Taner.

 

[Slenn]

"Nah, it's fine. I'm the one who butted in anyways."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Well, good to know there are handsome psychologists out there helping people." I say to Lambda, grinning like a wolf.

"Well I think that conversation has run it's course. Shall we start another, we three?" I ask Shana.

 

[Slenn]

"That is fine with me."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Lambda nodded at the suggestion of a topic change.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"So, you, Shana, you have furry ears and a tail. If you don't mind me asking, what's up with that?" I ask casually.

 

[Slenn]

"My ancestors were genetically engineered. They were volunteers that wanted to assist with creating an emergency power source. I can create nuclear fusion in small amounts. A wolf gene acts as a stabilizer to the genes that allow for nuclear fusion."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"So you're a walking power plant with wolf DNA." I state. Vampires, cyborgs, and now this. Could this get any stranger?

 

[Slenn]

"Yes, but I'm also training to be a diplomat."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"That makes you either very noble or very diabolical." I say, flexing my keen wit.

 

[Slenn]

"Why?" She said, raising an eyebrow in confusion, not really catching on.
