"I'm not a bounty hunter." the woman said, seemingly offended, "I am judge and executioner. I will not destroy anything. In fact, I will try to remove the dangerous influence from other worlds from here, as much as I can, so the balance of this world is restored.
Which of course means that after the situation is dealt with, this portal will need to be destroyed.

Anyways, thank you for not standing in my way. Do you know where I could ask about the current location of the ones I am searching?" the woman said, sounding serious.

Dalahar hears Ella and nods, despite not being in sight and still outside. When he saw the fire crews he stepped to one side to let them in."Shana" He spoke the beast woman. "Come over here for a second"

 

[Slenn]

"Anik's got a point. And there's another concern: How exactly is he going to be contained?" She asked Ella.

 

[Kirke]

Ella explained the situation to the firefighters, and told Shana that there were special prisons built to hold dangerous extradimensionals. She also told Ella; "Everyone are equal before the law. And I am not a judge - I'll not be involved in sentencing him."

When the police arrived she reported to one in charge. Again she explained what had happened, "The extradimensional responsible has been arrested, and it is clear that he is the one behind the murders earlier today and yesterday. He tattooed people, with tattoos designed to set people on fire if they became upset or angry. He specifically targeted Earth First to discredit them." She paused, then sighed and continued; "Unfortunately, as the events unfolded the extradimensionals brought here by the anomaly decided to help me. I could not stop them from doing so, but I did stress the importance of using non-lethal violence. Despite this, one person driven mad by a tattoo was killed. I have not questioned the extradimensionals to find out who did it, as I decided it was best to wait for your arrival before doing so."

"Fuck you!" the tattooist yelled, in response to Shana's request.

The police noted down Ella's response then, as one officer took the tattooist away at fire-extinguisher-point, they began questioning the rest of the group to find out what had happened.

After the police had arrived, Anik slowly got on her knees, then started to throw up.

"Well, I do not know all of the ones I need to judge. But for now, the one from my world is a blind woman, a serial killer. I think she wore something tribal, but I have not seen her myself, so I am sorry if I can not tell you too much. She is called Anik. Trial awaits her."

Due to a combination of not being told someone was hurt and not spotting otherwise, and not wanting to avoid being implicated in whatever happened in the parlour, Kuki stayed outside with Fernand, staying close by until the emergency services arrived.

Kuki looked to the tattooist as he was taken into custody by the police, then back towards the building.

"This is a mess"

, they said to Fernand as they watched the proceedings.

"I wonder what'll happen, now?"

 

[Slenn]

Shana moved over to Dalahar. "What's on your mind?"

 

[Silence]

"I don't know." Fernand said, "... I hope they are alright." His voice was trembling.

 

[Vakra jal]

"You" he said simply. "You, Kuki and especially Nina. The 3 of you worried me from what I saw earlier, so I have something for you"
With that Dalahar unclipped the power dagger from his waist, threw it slightly into the air before catching the tip of sheath, the pommel facing towards Shana "It's a knife to me but to you it's more of a short sword"

 

[Slenn]

Shana gently took the knife. "Ummm... thank you. But... there's another concern on my mind." She took a deep breath. "I'm not really capable of fighting. I don't really know how to explain it. It's just that, I'm fearful of getting bloodlust that so many of the ferals Fenrir claim to have. Even though there's plenty of evidence that the ferality effect is entirely a placebo, there's some sniggering suspicion in my mind that there is some bloodlust that comes with the wolf gene."

She sighed.
"I guess that's why I feel guilty in some way. In addition to that, I guess I'm too much of a pacifist in front of the people that hate me."

"I don't know precisely where she is, but there is an XPOL officer with her, I believe. Do you have any sort of phone on you?" the guard asked.

Dalahar removed his helmet and held it under one arm. Once again glad to taste unfiltered air. He fixed Shana with a look almost devoid of expression aside from a hint of weariness. "There are no wolves on Fenris" he simply said "A legion of Astartes are known as the Space Wolves hail from the planet Fenris. The fault in their gene seed makes them prone to beast-like savagery but" he said holding his free hand up with one finger extended "through discipline and focus they hone their savagery, taper it with reason. They rule it rather than let it rule them." He lowered his hand "I've lived long enough to see enough pacifists to say it serves nobody. You're imposing rules upon yourself that those arrayed against you don't follow. Rules that represent nothing plausible. Dying for an ideal, when you have the ability to fight for it is a waste. It only harms you and those close to you." His gaze softened as he said "If you'll let me, I'd give you a base understanding of combat, you can use it as you see fit. Better to learn as a countermeasure, just in case the time calls upon you"

"Phone? What's that? ... No." the white woman said. "I use magic means of communication, usually."

Raz didn't seem bothered by the dead bodies near him. He wasn't looking at them, but otherwise seemed ok. He stuck by the group.

"Thank you for your cooperation." the woman said, then went down the hall, to the counseling office, and knocked.

 

[Slenn]

"The Space Wolves sound similar to the Blood Dancers, people who were once feral but no longer. I had mentioned them before to you when you tried to control your demon. But I did not have any of the knowledge of their talents, so I couldn't give details. Maybe this time I can understand their plight back into civility."

She took a breath.
"I... suppose you have a point. Diplomacy has a time and a place, but it is not the only option. Even if it is most favorable in the situation on my planet, I think I would be better if I knew both sides of solving a problem; Both violent and peaceful options."

"I'd be happy to have you teach me. But what about Nina? She looks much smaller than I am."

 

[Vakra jal]

"A hand extended in friendship can easily become a fist of war. This is for your own good, as for Nina, she is but a child. I can't entrust a weapon to her. I will talk to her" he looked over his shoulder "Anik, Viyang, Ella, Raz, Candace." He shouted " you all aren't getting let off either"

"I'm just hoping no one gets into any legal trouble for what happened here"

, Kuki said, then exhaled heavily, speaking again while drawing a breath.

"Situations like these is exactly why those whose jobs it it's not to handle things like this, shouldn't. Especially when they're outsiders. If this Earth First were angry with people like us, before, they'll be livid after this."

Hearing Dalahar call out, Kuki looked in their direction, wondering what he meant by saying what he did. When eventually their name came up, Kuki wondered what was up even more, and asked Fernand to head over.
