"I'm not really sure, a bunch of the fences are in pretty bad shape, I bet that's how they get in but... Oh! I bet that it's some kind of test. A true Psychonaut should be able to handle such creatures, so they let the fences fall into disrepair to let a few in every now and then." replied Raz confidently.


Turning back to Shana, Raz replied. "Well, I can use Clairvoyance to see through the eyes of others, that one gets kinda weird. I can Confuse the minds of others by throwing these little psychic yellow grenade like things. I can use Invisibility to turn mostly invisible for a little while... ummm Oh! I can Levitate, that one is super fun. You saw the Telekinesis, and I mentioned Pyrokinesis, the one where I set things on fire. Oh I can make a psychic Shield, and Marksmanship I can fire these cool energy beams. I can do various other things, but those are the main things I learned while I was at camp."

 

[Vakra jal]

Dalahar sighed and turned around "wait? Why? I'm just some warmonger."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Obviously not, else you would not have tried to unite us. That's not the behaviour of a mad beast."

Lambda nodded, calling Anik.

As Anik's phone rang, she tried to reach to it, but was quite slow and weak, and she accidentally let it drop onto the floor.
Fernand picked it up, and laid it into her hand again.

"... Hello?" Anik said to the phone, weakly.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Anik!" Lambda was worried, partially that Anik was hurt and partly that the accusations leveled at her were true. "Are you alright?"

"... not really." Anik said slowly. "But my injuries were tended to by Kuki at least.
It just ... it was a mess here. We found who was behind the burning people, and the demon made people fight against us. I did not want this ..." She tried to repress shedding some bloody tears again. She felt awful, having killed someone, again.

White, already suspicious of Lambda, took a step backwards.

"Your circadian rhythm is like a internal clock, telling you when to feel tired, and when to feel active. By taking a long sleep before you're supposed to, you throw this rhythm off, thus "throwing it in a blender""

When Anik's scales fell off on being healed, Kuki looked at it, curious and confused, and started to analyse it when Anik started talking over the phone, storing a few scales on their computer, along with Anik's other samples. Once finished, Kuki looked up to Anik as she talked, wondering who was on the other end.

"Then what you need is something to focus on, so you don't spend all day fretting about." Candace suggested to Tresh.

"At least you stopped him." Lambda offered hopefully.

 

[Vakra jal]

"That was the idea. I could put all my energy into training everyone. I'm not trying to divide everyone, but it came across as a power play." He shook his head "I'm a line officer, don't have the desire for control over anyone. Just need some order here. That's what I though"

"At least that. But I killed someone, I did not warn before. I needed to get to Ella as fast as I could ... but I misjudged my own strength.
I should have warned them, calmed them down, not ... do this. Anyways ... I'm tired, now. Why did you call?" Anik said.

She shortly turned her head to Kuki: "I think I have destroyed this inner clock a long time ago anyways."

White stood by, in the doorframe of the counseling office, continuing to listen to Lambda.

"I understand. Order is paramount." Candace agreed.

"Following up on a patient. Sounds good that I called when I did." Lambda replied. She had been meaning to call Anik anyway soon, so it technically wasn't a lie.

 

[Silence]

"Yes. I think you helped me a bit already ... but I don't want to burden you with my fuck-ups. I just want to go back to the hotel and take a nap, now."

 

[Slenn]

"You can do all that... just with your head?" She said, looking impressed. "So what have been your endeavors as a Psychonaut cadet?"

 

[Vakra jal]

Dalahar resolves to head back to the group. Convinced he shouldn't have left "I shouldn't have threatened Ella" he said as he started heading back "she took it well at least"

"Bully for you."

 

[Furioso]

Raz thought for a moment. "Well... A lot of the stuff I did at camp is probably Top Secret, I don't know if I should talk about it."

 

[Vakra jal]

"I swear to not let my temper get out of hand like that" Dalahar said, "at least try to anyway"
It wasn't long before he arrived back where everyone else is. "Perhaps we should leave, no reason to stay here anymore"

Ella had stood her ground, silently. Now she took out her phone with shaking hands and stepped around the corner of the building before calling her superior - the man in charge for XPOL operations in Canada. In a low voice she explained the threat Dalahar could be. "I do not believe I could subdue him on my own, and he has explicitly said that he'll kill me if I oppose him. I recommend a full ETR squad, full armament, is brought here so they can be deployed within minutes. I also recommend that he is constantly monitored by a plain-clothes officer, as I believe he is likely to leave the main group. Even if he does not, it is possible he could eliminate me before I had time to call in back-up." After being assured that the ETR squad, at least, would be re-deployed, Ella ended the phone call. No shadow on him, then. Figures... - She thought as she leaned on the wall. She was still a bit shaken from the experience, and from the fight against the demon.

"Well, are there famous Psychonauts? Can you tell me a story of what they've done?"
