"Forget that! You didn't say anything about that last one before now!" Nina replied. "That's the one I'm taking!" Nina walked up to the mirror that just showed a bright light, squinting and shielding her eyes as she did so. After a moment of mental preparation, she stepped through.

The planeswalker shook his head, but smiled, then looked to Robin: "They never can accept what they are, can they?

I hope she finds happiness, being human again."

He then waved his hand, and the mirrors went back to the pictures they had shown before.

(OoC: @Drak: The exorcism is yours to imagine/write/bus Nina/skip/whatever you want. The planeswalker did not lie, so Nina will definitely be turned back human. After a lot of pain. Other than that - do whatever you want. It won't be my world.)

The man guided Anik to the dirt road, and told her how far to go and in what direction to get to the nearest village.

Yauna would stand up, then head for a room where she could rest.

"So, like, a cyborg or something?" Zevrisya replied, looking a little puzzled.

Dala and Candace wouldn't have to queue for too long, before they could get tickets.

Anik thanked the man, then made walked her way to the village, constantly clicking, sometimes whistling.

Yauna could rest in the room she had used earlier.

After buying the tickets, Dala said: "I would like to see the section about interdimensional travel. But if you want, you can choose first, Candace."

Therefore Dala walked into the section about interdimensional travel, wondering how the connection between Avinah and Earth came to pass, and how the current portals worked.

After some time walking along the dusty road, Anik would come across a small village. The land surrounding it would sound, and smell, very much like farmland and most of the traffic passing her by was in the form of carts carrying food around.
Otherworld

Yauna would spend the next eight hours resting, partially thinking about what she could do since she had no real way of getting Anik back any time soon. She considered treachery as the most expedient way to achieve one of her goals, but admitted that this would harm her other goals to some extent.

After the eight hours, Yauna would become ethereal again, and begin moving through the walls of the castle, searching for the room where the mages keeping the portal open were.

The exhibit on the portals would explain that, after years of advancing technology from interdimensionals, the people of Avinah decided to try and locate these other worlds. The study was, for the most part, based on sorcery and rituals to deities believed to have some influence in this domain.

The portal technology, at first, was simply a sorcerer with an affinity for this type of magic. This sorcerer was able to detect minor disturbances and openings in the universe, and widen them to pass through. Once this was used to establish contact with Earth, the two worlds pooled their knowledge together to automate the system.

Dala would also learn that these portals and natural openings created more serious disturbances, and so part of the function of portal-sorcerers and portal stations was to close these anomalies down to create stability. On Avinah, sorcerers typically did this due to their mobility.

The current portal technology was, essentially, a mechanically activated sorcery used to create, widen and close portals between universes which, with enough preparation, could be directed to specific worlds and even specific locations. The Vesh'Rah had been important in the development of this, due to the need for their sky-metal inscribing.

This information would be accompanied by paintings, and photographs, representing the key events in the history of interdimensional travel.

"They start as cyborgs, yes. But through the advent of transhumans, electrical engineers have been able to craft a cybernetic brain capable of mimicking the brain's faculties. It's through this that the transhumans can copy their consciousness and live for hundreds of years. This is also why people have disposed the use of the word 'machine' to describe something that's man-made. The transhumans can talk to people, communicate intelligently, and deliver humor, even though they are no longer biological. As a side note, this is also why some robots are considered people as well."

Anik listened for an inn of some sort, and would enter it and approach the innkeeper, clicking to find the counter.
If she did not find an inn, she would, after a little bit of time, approach one of the people outside she could hear.

In either case, she would ask: "Greetings. I'm a traveler of worlds of sorts, but I am stranded here. Would you know where I could find some wizards, to let me travel to another world, again?"
Otherworld

Yauna would not have too much trouble finding the throne room in the ethereal plane. If she could see antimagic shields in the ethereal plane however, she could see two in the throne room, of various size. The bigger one, she could deduce, was around the portal and the mages upholding it. It would not allow trespassing in the ethereal plane.

"Huh ..." Dala said, looking at the pictures and descriptions, "They are a little bit more advanced than I thought. The anomaly was, seemingly, more of an accident than a natural occurence. Unless there was sabotage, but I did not see an indication of that.

Do you think you could have any use for sky-metal, Candace? We will travel to the country of these Vesh, and you might be able to order a new artifact with effects of your choosing."

"Hmm... This sky metal..." Candace read the description of it, in utter awe, as if she had just found God. She turned to Dala quickly. "We should head there, yes."

Anik would be able to enter an inn, where she would find a number of people she could speak with. One of them turned towards her and said, "If it's wizards you're looking for, you'd have to go north to the Library. Caravans should be going that way soon.?
Yauna would return to the room she had spent the night in, and then return to the material plane. With a small sigh, she began chanting again and vanished. The one time I do something good, and I don't gain anything for it... Honestly, I don't understand how people can stand it.

"Sounds pretty weird." Zevrisya mused. "And uh... what's a robot?"

"I'll explain along the way to the library. You might find something interesting there." She said, giving a moment for Zev to walk with her. She continued. "So a robot is a man-made object that can be programmed to perform certain tasks. They can work on assembly lines in factories or operate in hazardous places humans can't go into."

Shana chuckled for quite a while at that comment. "Well, yes that's what the first ones were like, at the latter half of the 20th century. I'm from the 36th century, and the robots have become far more sophisticated. They can have minds now that think identically to that of a human. They mostly assist in space programs nowadays, since they don't require air to breathe."

"Well, there's explorers, colonizers, scientists, and engineers who want to profit in space. Lots of explorers and scientists love space because it gives them lots of stuff to research like stars, planets, and nebulae. And colonists and engineers love space because it gives them something to build like ships, warpgates, and towns. My planet was colonized because it had an abundant amount of cobalt, a material needed to construct warpgates."

The delegation returned. A trio of the nascent Siren Corp returned through the portal hidden by Tombstone technology. Having disguised themselves as ambassadors of this world. They had held the meeting with the King of Scathis with contempt, threatening his world with invasion. Saying they took his son to force his surrender. As predicted he had flown into a rage with their audacity, promising blood for their unprovoked aggression. The huge aliens a perfect opponent for their purpose. Monstrous scaled beasts, exactly the sort of horror that could cross through into this world. Helena was busy ordering the movement of supplies and equioment away from the portal aside from the cloaking technology. The Sirens themselves had made sure they were followed. The next life form to come through that portal would be an invading army.

Somewhere in western America
Senator Lewis reclined in his chair. A smile creeping across his face. Money well spent.
He'd show everyone the threat just waiting on the other side, he would show everyone what was needed to be done with these extradimenionals. He'd would show them all......why Earth came first.

"Nice. Then it's a plan!" Dala said, then headed for the section about Blastia, mainly focusing on the destruction, possible wars, its introduction could have caused.

After having rested, Blue headed to the throne room. She let people search for Yauna, without much hurry, and sighed when they did not find her. She, however, was not too surprised.

Then she got the communication device from Forefront. "Hello?" she said into it. "I would like to speak with someone about portals."

"They go along the main roads of the town. And yeah, they should take you. They might ask you for help loading things but that's all."

Dala would learn that blastia had, originally, been brought in by a weapons merchant at a time when war was brewing. However, it was also noted that diplomatic efforts had averted the conflict, and so offensive blastia was mostly used in law enforcement and city defence.

Most of the exhibit on blastia focused on things like the water-producing blastia which had aided communities by providing fresh drinking water, and water for steam-based locomotives and automobiles. This was accompanied by an image of said blastia being installed in a desert city. Dala would also learn about the blastia which powered ships which had aided in commerce and exploration.

The exhibit focused on interdimensional technology would have other parts, including one about the company which made the phones and information about technology that had been brought over from Earth such as automail.

"I suppose that makes sense." Zevrisya replied. "So, how does being born in space affect your birthstars?"
