The lieutenant nodded and said, "Well, you have my sincerest thanks. You may just have helped stop a war." - He then looked over at Faa and said; "Could you help us do that? Whoever kidnapped you, it wasn't the nation who is being invaded. It has to be some criminal organisation. We want to hunt them down, but the stopping the war must come first."

"Why not? This war will be terrible, more than a thousand have already died but there'll be a lot more if it goes on. I know for a fact that the South Africans are gathering their whole army to fight back!" - The lieutenant replied hotly. The other three ETR troopers looked quite uncomfortable standing there. They were not used to seeing their lieutenant like this.

"There's so much to consider and unless you fancy a lecture in the intricacies of Scath politics I can go into more detail in such a short time." He snapped, on edge himself. "You can't just announce I'm alive.........we Scath are hardly united and I know at least one baron would love the chance to have me killed." He sighed "this is more than just a war of two sides."

"It mostly just shapeshifts and protects me from stuff."

I'm doing this as a favor."[/color] She turned her attention to Faa and said, [color=9f2089]"Simple or not, you have to at least do something."[/color] While addressing both Faa and the lieutenant, she added, [color=9f2089]"So let's turn this argument into something productive, and figure out what that something is."[/color]

[color=e50000]"It has. But you need to know where to search for it."[/color] Dala said. She stepped out from behind the screen, fully dressed in the nightgown.

[color=99d039]"That's cool! What - and how - can it shapeshift?"[/color] Sarah asked, then, after hearing what Faa said, quickly turned to him, angry. [color=99d039]"I'm sorry about this - but it is still your folk attacking, and if you get shown, it will help the humans in any case - either you get fighting amongst your own, or, much preferably, they stop fighting.

This is not our war, therefore we do not want to have it on our earth, no matter what happens elsewhere. I would help you - after this war has been stopped."[/color]

Zevrisya frowned at the cop and at Faa, and she started rubbing one of her temples. After a few seconds, a violet aura appeared around her head, and when she pointed at Faa, Sarah and the lieutenant they would start to feel calmer. [color=660099]"EVERYONE cool it. Angry people give me a fucking headache."[/color]

The lieutenant took a deep breath, then nodded. "Alright. And there is a time-limit on this too. In a few days the South Africans will be ready to advance - and they're set on revenge for what happened in Johannesburg."

One of the troopers, the medic, looked over at Sarah. "You're not an extradimensional?" Another looked over at Zev and said harshly; "Please do not use magic on peace officers."

Ory'hara walked slowly up to the table as the man inspected her. She focused her own 'weaves' on being unremarkable, the kind of person the eyes just slide past and the brain promptly decides isn't worth further thought. After he had spoken, she replied; [color=0066cc]"The guards told me I should speak with you. I'm a bounty hunter, and I'm trying to find a woman called Anik. I've gathered that she was quite famous here."[/color]

Zev responded to the trooper with a scowl as the aura faded, and said, [color=660099]"Or what?"[/color] Once the aura around Zevrisya's head faded, the three people she had used her powers on would no longer feel the calmness.

"I want to help as much as I can." Reinhardt told Cybil.

"It's not my fault!" Faa said in a panick "I didn't ask to be taken I didn't ask my father to invade." He stood up on all fours. "I don't mean to just sit here, you are right there is a time limit. Both of our peoples will die.....if your army advances then mine will come down on them in force, nobody gets out of that one looking pretty and it will escalate even further."
He shuddered as Zev flared up angrily. Cybil had at least given Faa some confidence that something could be done while Sarah's words were venomous to Faa but he could understand that. "I'm open to ideas, anything you have on how you would proceed, all of you. Just anything constructive and non-confrontational would be okay"

Helena had just recieved word from Lewis about his disappointment at the scale of the Scath invasion. She had reassured him that the teams they had operating on Scathis had placed their military numbers far higher than those present in South Africa. Stalling was the best approach for now, each hour more and more Scath arrived, likely as they mobilised on their own side of the portal. The King of Scathis had been fully supported in his war efforts, with all the sub-areas of Scathis prepared to deploy most of their military, a rarity as Tombstone had observed. Their contacts on Scathis still required the war to escalate further which was fine by Lewis.
Helena herself was very bored still. The remaining CA team had arrived to pursue Lewis' power fantasy and she was completely uninterested. SOS and WK had been more than enough to build her the army she needed. Lewis' address was tomorrow, scheduled early and that should keep everything snow balling nicely.

 

[Silence]

Sarah was calmed by Zev, but as her anger came back, it was not less. To the medic she said: [color=99d039]"No ... I'm only a bystander. I am from germany."[/color]

As she spoke to Faa, her tone was still venomous: [color=99d039]"Well - get under police protection, get in contact with your father immediately, and order him to stop this war at once. Nothing else matters.
I doubt our people will just attack if they know about you as well.

I would drag you before a skypecall with your dad myself, if you hesitate too long. But I trust the police will handle that."[/color]

Krovis did not seem to care about Ory'Haras weaves. He looked right at her, inspected her, all the same. It was an unpleasant stare.
"Famous? You could say so." he said. "What would you do with her, if you caught her?"

The lieutenant said; "From our side, I think a simple peace would be acceptable. Your safe return, the withdrawal of Scath troops and the closure of the portal. Would your father accept that, do you think?"

"Just don't, alright?" - The trooper replied to Zev, annoyed.

"Change." Candace stated, baffled.

Reinhardt stood by, glad to hear peace was on the table.

Shana waited patiently as she listened to the conversation.

Faa shrinks back as he speaks
