Zevrisya would, purely to avoid getting lost and to stay out of the sun, also browse the clothing store's stock. She would, however, ignore pretty much anything that didn't have a significant amount of red. She would also browse the men's sections as well as women's sections, visibly confused by the apparent gendering of clothes.

 

[Silence]

[color=99d039]"Umm ... well, I actually don't know anything about men's shoes."[/color] Sarah admitted.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"A shoe store, perhaps?"

 

[Silence]

[color=99d039]"That we should be able to find. But I don't know where one is ... although..."[/color] Sarah said, then took out her smartphone.

After using it for a bit, she stated: [color=99d039]"There should be one just around the corner."[/color]

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Good. Tell me if you see any cheap sunglasses, if you could. Oh, and thanks, Sarah."

 

[Silence]

[color=99d039]"No problem."[/color] Sarah said as she made her way out of the store and on the next street - which actually had a lot of tourist shops with a lot of cheap sunglasses, as well.

I grab myself some mirrored aviators and continue to the shoe store. Once inside I start looking at the sneakers.

 

[Slenn]

"This isn't all too different from what I've seen back home. At least in term of fashion sense for shoes. Only how they're displayed is different, and the sheer quantity."

 

[Silence]

There were a lot of different kind of sneakers, most of them casual and in white, while some others were black or coloured.

[color=99d039]"You have the same kind of shoes 1000 years from now?"[/color]

Reinhardt headed over to where the Hawaiian shirt was found, holding up the biggest one he could find with surprising gentleness considering his massive armour and comparing it to his size.

 

[Slenn]

"Well, the general concept is the same. And technically it's 1500 years. Why break what's traditionally simple? But I guess there are a few differences. Some footwear will autotailor itself such that it can be worn by anyone at any time."

I pick out some sturdy runners and buy them. "I think I'm done." I announce to my entourage.

 

[Silence]

The biggest shirt was actually nearly fitting Reinhardt - it could be worn.

[color=99d039]"Ah. Well, 2000 years ago they also had shoes, so I guess the concept is really old, but proven."[/color] Sarah chuckled. [color=99d039]"Alright, now a hotel?"[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"The staff at the restaurant gave me directions to a hotel. I know where it is."

Reinhardt smiled. "This will make a nice souvenir. Maybe I am work on my tan in the downtime!" He bought them as well, then linked back with the others.
Lambda had sat near the store entrance and closed her eyes behind her visor, looking for all the world like a kid that had been bored into numbness while waiting for her parents to finish shopping.

"Ha! Knew it." Nova smirked. "Not like that's anything to worry about though. I don't get out much either."

Cybil and Sylvia groans in disapproval as their suggestions weren't heeded. While they were still at the clothing store, Cybil bought two identical outfits, consisting of a pair of spartan white shorts and an accompanying short-sleeved white button-up shirt, as well as a wide-brimmed sunhat. They changed into their new clothes at the store before leaving, lagging behind the others as they had to make adjustments to accommodate their ears and tails. Sylvia seemed to have bought something else entirely, and elected to just carry it with her in the store bag. Cybil was stilling wearing her old belt with the scabbard attached, and Nova still wore her grey gloves.

Cybil and Sylvia also bought running shoes.

"I'm all for that! I'm beat. I haven't slept a wink since I got here." Nova replied to the idea of finding a hotel.

"And how was I supposed to relax enough to pull that off?"

Sylvia was happily humming to herself.

"I think we've all earned a rest. Poor Lambda here can barely keep her head up." I say, poking fun at my new friend.

 

[Silence]

[color=99d039]"Nice. Can you bring us there?"[/color] Sarah asked Shana.

As the catgirls arrived behind them, Sarah looked at Sylvia, then the bag she carried. She smiled. [color=99d039]"Bought something nice?"[/color]

Zev returned to the group with no new items, an expression of distaste on her face. [color=660099]"Clothing here is weird."[/color] she commented, mostly to herself.

"Sure thing!" She said, smiling.
