Fist was moving toward the gigantic battleship while firing it's arm cannon accurately but futilely. Bruce saw the dark wolf climbing the battleships enormous leg, and began going towards accomplishing similar actions. That was when he heard the comms spurt.

"All right folks, if you've been wanting some more fun, now's the time to get it."

To which bruce replies "Just save some for me, all right."
During this exchange, fist runs under the battleship, and afterwards, climbs up the enormous foot and begins clambering up the leg.

The enemy Gunman scattered as Shiro landed in their midst, effortlessly crushing one of their number with a single blow. They were barely holding on as it was; if the humans were getting reinforcements, then they might as well hightail it out of there.

"Seiichi the Dreamer, eh?"

A voice crackled over Seiichi's radio, as a small panel suddenly appeared on Shiro's central display. A scarred, ugly, and blessedly human mug grinned at Seiichi through the connection, complete with a wild haircut, an obscenely tall collar, and a fancy eye-patch. "Well I gotta admit, it's sure as hell great to get some backup here! The name's Pachoun, chief of Dokkanai Village!"

The rest of Pachoun's introduction was cut short, as a barrage of explosive shells and bullets slammed into the ground, obliterating the crushed Gunman Shiro had been standing on but a few seconds prior. Having successfully dodged the blast, Seiichi's mech skidded to halt among the other resistance fighter's. An indigo Gunman, its body a mass of spikes and spines and with one eye scratched out, raised a welcoming hand, helping Shiro back to its feet. "This probably ain't the best time for explanations. Long story short, we've decided to take this little Gunman for ourselves, and some help would be damn well appreciated! Think you can give us a hand here? I just need a bit of cover so I can get Kasui here up on top of that Dai-Gunthingy."

[hr]

Shiro was not the only target Dai-Gunkaji was after; a small, select group of long-barreled cannons turned towards Chris and Grim, letting off a steady stream of shots. Though the sniper Gunman was far too fast to be hit by the blasts, the dodging movements made it hard to get a clear bead on any of the enemy mechs.

However, with Shiro, Grim, and the rest of the human resistance drawing its fire, the gigantic ship failed to note the pair of Gunman scaling its legs. The pitiful amount of fire was aimed at Fist and Dark Wolf from the grounded Beastmen forces, but nothing serious enough to deal any real damage.

After a few moments of struggling up the massive, moving limb, both Layla and Bruce's mechs clambered onto Dai-Gunkaji's deck. It didn't take long for one of the Elite units to spot the rebels; soon they found themselves boxed in by a trio of the special Gunman, another ursine shaped one, a fox-faced one, and one that seemed to be more suited for aquatic environments, judging by the fins and fish-like visage. As one, they raise their fists to attack, when a derisive tone cuts through the air, full of venom and disgust, "Oh for crying out loud... you three keep the rest of them from getting up here. I'll handle these upstarts."

As the Elites, surprisingly obedient, back off, a single Gunman slowly marches forward to replace them. With long legs and arms, a barrel-chested torso, marked by a pair of thin, gleaming eyes and a mouthful of long, razor-sharp fangs, and an ornate helm to top it all off, the mech strikes an imposing figure, its accessory allowing it to tower over Dark Wolf and Fist. Maroon armor, with navy highlights, covers the Gunman's body, its eyes glowing with a piercing, vermilion light. A series of tubes, made of some material that flexes with ease, runs down the length of the machine's limbs, starting at its chest and ending at its cruelly clawed hands and feet. Beneath the mech's helmet, instead of a head, there lies only an icy-blue flame, a fire that never wanes or wavers despite the Gunman's movement. When the robot's chest cracks open, a similarly hued light can be seen emitting from the cockpit, and licks of flame slip out between the fangs, as though they were accompanying the pilot's words.

"I have had it with you ignorant apes and your inane attempts at rebellion! Why the hell don't you all just shove off and go back home, huh?!"

As he finishes speaking, the pilot lets out a mighty roar, which his Gunman amplifies to earth-shaking volume. Of slightly more concern than the shout is the gush of fire that accompanies it, a sea of blue flames pouring from the mech's mouth that swiftly threaten to engulf both Fist and Dark Wolf.

During this whole exchange, Ayla had been participating, too. Her Gunman Firestorm had initially stopped to take in the surroundings and try to figure out a battle plan of sorts, quickly... when Seichii had rather swiftly stolen away their chances of surprise attack. As the others start swooping down for battle, she rolls her eyes "Welp, I'm guessing we're not going for the element of surprise. Oh well, let's burn some bitches!" And starts dashing down the hill at a significant speed, being one of the lighter mechs.

She reaches the feet eventually, and after timing carefully due to not wanting to be stomped, she leaps to the foot, and clambers up it, if she gets to a difficult spot she simply punches in a climbing hole for herself, and keeps doing so.

Like the others, she eventually reaches the top of the legs, but instead of going right up to get to the main landing zone of the battleship, she punches herself some holes to climb along the underside of the main section, wanting to sneak up on it from behind while the others are the main distraction on the main deck.

Eventually she gets there, having punched holes all the way, and climbs up the back of the command structure, before punching in, not with plasma since it's a ***** to repair and they want to capture this, and with a grin looks to see how she can disable those controlling the big battleship while everyone is distracted. If it stops moving and firing, that would make their life much easier!

Opening a comm to Seiichi and the Dokkanai folks, Anthony's voice soon engulfed their auditory senses.

"OOOOOOIIIII!! AREN'T YOU FORGETTING SOMEONE!?!?"

Although he was among the first to arrive at the top of the slope, Anthony had to briefly exit his Gunman to go throw up. He always was a shitty drinker. Not that he'd ever admit it.

Landing in between the villagers and the enemy force, Ringstar rushes towards a group of mass produced Gunmen, introducing himself all the while.

"There are those who fight for justice! HYAAAAARRHH!!"

A gunman falls to a left hook.

"And those who fight for evil! DAAAAAHHH!!"

Another crushed by a straight.

"Some of us dig to pierce the heavens and some of us dream of a peaceful tommorrow! AAARRRYYAA!!!"

Two Gunmen are obliterated by a corkscrew cross.

"But me? I PUNCH THINGS IN THE FACE!"

A ridiculous pose, marked by an explosion in the background tops off the intro as Ringstar makes its way towards the villagers and Shiro.

"I'm Anthony "Free" Silver. The Black Star of Hatedai Village. Let's get us a gunship!!"

Connor chuckled as his allies charged into the fray kicking, screaming and cutting swathes of destruction through the enemy. As if that monstrous Gunman, the Dai-Gunkaji, was slated to become theirs. A lot of them had seen an opportunity and gone straight for it, ignoring anything else in the way, while others had just run down screaming whatever it was they could. He had to join in; he hadn't even known of Gunmen this big before, so how could he possibly give up this chance to look at it from within!? "Hold tight," he warned his tag-along, "this ride's gonna get bumpy."

Justicar took off after the others, weapons at the ready and enemies in every direction. That huge Gunman needed to be stopped, and those guys scaling it were just gonna be fodder for the Gunmen on-board. He had a way better plan.

Several mass-produced Gunmen jumped into his path, seeking to end his flight to the Dai-Gunkaji, and instead became stepping stones to that end. The first went down with an upwards slice, splitting it in half from the bottom, and he launched off it. A second was blasted into scrap mid-jump with Justicar's cannon and a third was reduced to little more than a crater when he landed on it. With his path to the Dai-Gunkaji cleared of opposition he could get to work.

He jumped onto the foot, making use of his sword to secure himself against the surface as he climbed. However, once it came time to jump onto the main body of the Gunman he refused, instead going for the joint between the leg and the body. More specifically he was stabbing away at the joint and crowbarring the armour apart.

Grim dodged cannon fire left and right, jumping up and down, and basically looking like an idiot. "Will someone please deal with those damn deck guns?!" After dodging fire for a few more minutes, Chris got tired of it, "Alright, that's it. I've had it!"

Grim jumped far away enough for it to get a clear shot for a few seconds, in that time Chris lined up the shot on one of the deck guns and fired, the round turned the cannon into scrap metal. He then jumped again, and did this one more time. The next gun seem to blast off the beast and land on a standard beastman gunman. "That's how you do it. Maybe now there will be a lull in the firin. . . " Before he could finish another deck gun shot the ground right under Grim. Chris' gunman went flying into the air and landed at the bottom of the slope. Grim got up with both it and Chris holding their heads.

"Pachoun, eh?" Seiichi sputtered out, coughing as his Gunman rose back to its feet. He dusted off some scorch marks on his arm from the barrage of fire, and slammed a fist into the fist of Pachoun's mech. "You're asking the right man for help, Pachoun! If there's one thing I can do..."

Without a hint of warning, Shiro began moving again, sprinting towards the line of Beastmen still on the ground.

"...It's grab everybody's attention!"

The Beast of Hope's mouth ripped itself open, roaring in defiance as it charged like a madman into the collection of Gunmen. A trio of mass-produced models stepped into Shiro's way, holding their fists up and ready for a fight. Not as ready as Seiichi, though.

Shiro leaned back onto its rear leg, skidding into the trio like a bowling ball. The three tried to throw counter-punches as it came in close. Shiro's left and right arms came up like shields, blocking the blows from the outside. The one in the middle was smart, and aimed straight for Seiichi in the cockpit. Shiro responded by opening its maw wide, and letting the fist come right inside before clamping down on it. Its massive teeth tore away layers of metal, and over half of the Gunman's hand was completely devoured. The mech's pilot yelped in terror and confusion, backing away from Seiichi and his psychotic biting mech.

With a shove, Shiro pushed its arms outwards, throwing off the balance of the other two Gunmen and leaving them open for a counter strike. The Beast spun on its left leg, moving like a top as it extended a fist and let it collide with each Gunman multiple times as he rotated around and around for further hits. Half a dozen dents marred each mech's body by now, and they finally recovered enough from the reeling blows to hop away and let their third comrade try again. This time, his humanoid mech went for a kick straight into Shiro's eyes.

WHAM

It was a no-sell. Shiro didn't budge an inch, instead opting to lean forward after the kick landed, pushing it back to the chorus of groaning metal. The Beastmen inside the cockpit, a humanoid sort of dog began to shiver and shake as he realized just what deep trouble he was in. Then, Shiro did the worst thing it could possibly do.

It grinned. Two arms came down and grabbed the other Gunman's outstretched leg, nearly shearing it off already from the force, and spun it around. They released their grip just in time to send the robot hurtling into the sky, and ultimately colliding right into the Dai-Gunkaji.

The explosion was small, compared to the size of the battleship, but devastating for the pilot at the very least. Turning to the other two Gunmen, Shiro cracked its knuckles in anticipation before charging forward again. A hammer-fist to the baboon-like one on his left decimated its cockpit, leaving the crippled suit lying useless on the ground. The third attempted a hammer-blow of its own from above, but Seiichi was just fast enough to catch it as it came down. He grabbed the offending Gunman's fists and swung them behind his head. The mech smashed into the ground, and fell into a few shattered pieces. The pilot scurried out from the cockpit, ducking the shots going all around and running for cover.

Seiichi turned to the remaining Beastmen lines, and threw up a defiant fist, the back of which was turned to them. He shouted, "I won't stop, I CAN'T stop until you're piles of scrap under my feet! WHO'S NEXT?"

KACHOOM

A gigantic blast of yellow energy rocketed across the ground, tearing a wide trench as it went. Seiichi barely had time to recognize it and move before it tore the ground where he'd once been to smoldering shreds. After jumping about twenty feet away, Shiro immediately clutched its head/chest, as Seiichi did the same to his own. They scanned back and forth, looking for whoever made that attack.

They got their answer quickly; standing in the center of the Beastmen lines, primarily because the others had fled, was a taller-than-average Gunman. One of the elites, colored an array of blues with a bright red gem in the center of its forehead. Inside, a baritone-voiced Beastman called Seiichi, "Hold still, and we'll see who's scrap!"

The source of the attack was plainly visible: the Gunman's right arm had been converted. Starting just above the write, where normal Gunman anatomy had once been it was replaced by a barrel-shaped blue cannon, with white lines of lit boxes running up the sides. The left arm was bracing it for the sake of aim, and was already lining up another shot. Inside his own mech, Seiichi grinned a mad grin and began moving. "Sounds like fun!"

The blaster fired, and an eruption of energy tore apart the landscape where Shiro had been. Had been, as by now the Mech had rolled to its right, safely away from the devastation. The Elite tried again, but Seiichi twisted the controls and let Shiro pirouette around the blast. He charged forward in the brief respite between shots, and get within thirty feet of his opponent.

The Elite fired once more, and with a boxer's slide, Seiichi slipped to the left and away from the blast. He reminded himself to thank Free for giving him a few pointers in their drunken stupor the night before. Seiichi felt a free shot open, and lunged forward with his left fist. The Elite spun around and used his normal hand to catch it in the air and spin, slamming Shiro face-first into the sand. Seiichi shouted in shock and pain as he collided with the earth, immediately rolling onto his back to launch a kick at the Elite. It didn't do much, but forced it to back up long enough to hop back onto his feet. Shiro tried again, launching a one-two punch combo, which the Elite easily dodged by shifting his body left and right. Roaring in anger, Seiichi leaned forward with his Gunman, and Shiro straight-up headbutted the Elite, reeling the Beastman within and sending the mech lurching back. Shiro didn't let up, and tackled the thing to the ground.

With the thing incapacitated, Shiro launched a mad flurry of blows into the enemy Gunman, denting the armor as it sought a way to tear open the cockpit. As the shots rained down, the Elite cackled through the loudspeaker.

"Gwahahahaha... you filthy monkeys are the same! Too stupid to look any direction but straight ahead!"

"Huh?" Seiichi scanned his viewport for whatever the Beastman might be alluding to; he found its cannon arm, fully charged and about to fire straight for him.

"Gah--SHIT!" Seiichi yanked on the controls, already far too late to avoid the attack.

KACHOOM

Dust and smoke chocked the air surrounding the two Gunman, denying any sight within. It sat like that for almost a minute, before finally rolling away.

Still on top of the other Gunman, Shiro remained; but it was battered. Its left arm had dissipated entirely, after being used a shield to prevent damage to the rest of the Gunman. Inside, Seiichi let out a cackle of his own. "Don't you get it? That's what makes humans so great! We look nowhere but forward, because we can see a beautiful dream right in front of us!"

Shiro raised its right hand into the air, and with a chop came down on the right shoulder of the Elite. Its cannon arm was detached, and snatched up by Shiro as it stood. Seiichi held the newfound weapon in his right hand, aiming it down at the Elite.

"And we will NEVER. LOOK AWAY. FROM THAT DREAM."

KACHOOM

[hr]

With the smoldering wreckage of the Elite behind him, Seiichi returned to the battle proper, now wielding a devastating new weapon. He took aim at the Dai-Gunkaji, and the particularly intimidating Gunman on top. It would be a long-shot from his position... but anything was worth a shot.

"HEY, FLAME-FACE! GOT A PRESENT FOR YA!"

The barrage of flames had engulfed fist, and partially melted it's armor. Bruce shouts in reply
"Despite what it may seem, your assault has only served to make m- oh shit leakage" The sound of a fire extinguisher is briefly heard before Bruce amends "make me stronger".

Fist gathers part of it's molten armor onto it's titular armament. Bruce shouts the name "Magma impact" and fist delivers a punch to his opposition knocking it over.

This however, causes an incoming shot to hit not it's intentional target, but rather an upper section of Fists armor, leaving a large dent.

Bruce opens the comms, blurting the words "This is why you don't shoot into a melee."

"I have had it with you ignorant apes and your inane attempts at rebellion! Why the hell don't you all just shove off and go back home, huh?!"

Layla and Dark Wolf easily avoided the flames as she sped past the Flaming Gunman, unleashing a salvo of missiles into his right arm and rear armor as she went by.

She went about clearing the deck of MP'ed models. Her first bound to avoid a descending fist almost sent her over the edge, luckily a Beastman was nearby, who she grabbed ahold of and launched herself back across the deck, causing him to fall off and ran straight into another Gunman on the other side, that mech falling off as well. Turning, she smiled at the multitude of mechs still on that she could do with as she wanted.

She flicked a few switches again, and the Spiral cannon on her back emerged and began charging, so long as she could stay out of reach of Flame, she had plenty of time. She clicked a button and a howl emerged from Dark Wolf's mouth, causing more than a few Gunmen to adopt a similar howling posture before reacting to the multitudes of bullets that flew at them. A single Beastman managed to remain hidden from her though and if she hadn't turned at just the right time, she could've easily been killed.

"Now-that's-just-not-nice-sneaking-up-on-someone-without-making-your-presence-known-now-is-it?" She said as she spun out of the way and fired with the other arm directly at the cockpit, more than a bit of blood seeped out from the holes in the machine.

She continued to spin, unleashing leaded death in every direction as the many Gunmen attempted to swarm her by surrounding her. At the last second, she jumped out of the circle, after she had left half of them dying and the rest injured in some way or another.

"Cannon charged, Ms. Green" A voice told her inside her mech.

"Good-enough-for-me."

She bounded up the side of the Dai-Gunkajii, followed closely by the few that had survived her onslaught. Clamping down onto the side of the thing, she took aim and fired with the cannon on her back, obliterating them and leaving only the Flame Gunman and one of the ones from last night alive, the rest either scrap or melted hunks of metal. She flicked the switches again and began charging the cannon before dropping back to the deck, confident that she and this Gunman with a cannon for an arm could handle him, so long as he could hold him and she could shoot him, because who in their right mind would let her fight something like that in close combat?

Fists opposition was attempting to get up when it and fist were both hit from behind with a series of missiles. This causes the enemy to be unable to get up. It also causes fist to stumble forward, but was able to quickly upright as it had only been brought to a kneel. Fist then stomps on his opposition and proceeds to crush it with it's enormous foot.

At the same time, Bruce opens the communicator to layla and says the words "you know, I heard of this brilliant tactic, it involves not shooting rockets into a fist fight"

It had taken all of a minute for the already frenetic battle to descend even further into chaos. Luckily, Yumi mused, it was chaos that the humans could use to their advantage.

While Connor had begun to scale Dai-Gunkaji's leg, the silent mechanic had slipped off Justicar's shoulder, tumbling to the ground. Dodging between massive feet and bursts of gunfire, Yumi made her way to the rest of the human infantry, and was greeted with a spare assault rifle and some ammo. Making sure to stay in cover, she did her best to harass the Beastemen units, providing a small distraction for the human-piloted Gunmen. It wasn't much compared to what the pilots were doing, but it was something.

And, as it turned out, it was probably enough: the Beastmen ranks had been thrown into utter disarray by the arrival of our intrepid heroes. It was a simple matter for the prior denizens of Dokkanai to tear through the vast majority of the mass-produced Gunman, and help from Ringstar and Shiro only helped to hasten the Beastman rout. "Yeah, that's the way men! Let's show these Beastmen what "lowly humans" can do!"

Pachoun's energized shout echoed around the battlefield, while his spiky, one-eyed Gunman tore a Beastman mech in two. "Dokkanai, CHARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGE!!!" As one, the small group of robots rushed towards Dai-Gunkaji's leg, scrambling up the massive limb just while Justicar ripped apart its armor. Ringstar moved to follow them, but found his path blocked by one of the few still standing Elites, an ivory, gorilla-shaped Gunman wielding an enormous war-hammer. "I don't think so, you rotten human! Feel the wrath of my Crush!" The massive weapon blurred as it swung through the air, slamming into Ringstar with a resounding *crunch*.

[hr]

"Despite what it may seem, your assault has only served to make m- oh shit leakage... make me stronger".

Fist launches forward with a devastating punch, its arm a mass of blazing metal. Though improvised, the attack certainly looks to be effective; getting hit with that much molten material is going to hurt, no matter how much armor is blocking it. It was a blow that would sacrificed a good chunk of Fist's armor, but would deal a ton of damage.

And sadly, it would also miss entirely. The dark-red Gunman easily sidesteps Bruce's headlong charge, reaching out a clawed hand to snag the nonlethal part of Fist's arm. Using the mech's own momentum against it, the Beastman unit flips Fist through the air, just as Shiro let out an almighty shout: "HEY, FLAME-FACE! GOT A PRESENT FOR YA!" The split second of warning was all the Beastman needed; moving faster than should be possible, the crimson Gunman leaps to the side, dragging Bruce and his mech directly into the path of Shiro's attack. The burst of energy shreds Fist's already damaged armor in an instant, blowing off part of its face and sending the Gunman flying through the air.

As a heavily damaged Fist painfully skids towards the edge of the battleship's deck, Layla's barrage of missiles and gunfire tears towards the scarlet Gunman, a mass of explosives and shots capable of tearing even the most hardened armor to shreds. Instead of dodging, the Beastman unit simply raises an empty hand, pointing its palm at the incoming wave of doom. A sphere of azure fire bursts from the outstretched limb, a wall of searing heat that causes most of the missiles to detonate prematurely; a single warhead manages to get through the flames, only to be snatched out of the air by a clawed fist. Although the missile's exhaust port still churns out fuel and fire, the Gunman seems to have no trouble bringing the projectile to a total halt.

"This is all you can muster, AND YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE US ON?!" With a flick of its wrist, the Gunman hurls the missile back at Dark Wolf, the resulting explosive nearly knocking Layla's mech off its feet. "You pathetic weaklings... Let me show you what a true Gunman is capable of!"

Flexing its arms and legs, the scarlet machine is suddenly engulfed by a storm of blue fire, a maelstrom of flames that covers every inch of its body. With outstretched fingers gleaming in the azure light, the Gunman prepares to charge Dark Wolf, before the sound of tearing metal suddenly grabs its attention. A door built into the battleship's bridge suddenly slams open, a few Beastmen pouring out and screaming about a giant hand. "Rrrrrrrr... I'll deal with you later."

Leaving Dark Wolf to wreak havoc upon the few mass-produced units on deck, the blazing Gunman leaps high into the air, smoothly landing on top of Dai-Gunkaji's command center. From such a vantage point, it was easy to spot Ayla's Firestorm, as it attempted to tear into the bridge from the rear. Already the lithe Gunman had dealt some damage, its attacks distracting the Beastmen in charge of the cannons; the guns that had been keeping Grim under heavy fire were rapidly jerking upwards, firing shots high into the empty air, and giving Chris a chance to steady his aim and inflict some real damage.

"Feh." Reaching out, the flaming mech sank its claws into one of the nearby, inactive turrets. Wrenching the massive gun off of its mount, the Gunman hurled the mass of metal towards Firestorm, sending a trio of fireballs after it for good measure. As Ayla's robot was forced from its tenuous position, the Beastmen unit turned its gaze back towards the main deck, eyeing the influx of humans that poured up Dai-Gunkaji's legs. "Worthless! FOOLS!"

Leaping from its perch, the Gunman charged back towards the battle raging below it, a mass of claws, flames, and rage. "LADON, SLAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!"

[hr]

With sounds of battle coming from both above and below, Justicar worked hard to tear into the massive leg it was perched upon; it took a few minutes, but the Gunman had finally ripped off most of the armor around the knee, exposing the hydraulics and wires that powered the massive joint. Taking it out would be a crippling blow to the giant battleship, but that might not be the best course of action...

"Rrrrr!..."

Seiichi growled in somewhat neutered defiance from his position on the sand, staring up at the colossal Gunman, where all of the action was taking place without him. His eyes were like little black beads, focused like laser sights on the dark red Gunmen laying waste to his friends. He looked at the control panel above him, showing the condition of his Gunman.

It was as bad as he thought; Shiro's left arm had been torn off and ripped to atoms at the shoulder by that last blast. This cannon was capable of tremendous force, but that thing was too fast for it to be effective from down here. He needed a way to get up, to scale that thing's leg with only one arm.

Then, an idea struck him. He began to laugh wildly as he took off at a run. At that moment, Dai-Gunkaji was set up just across the way from a particularly large hill. That was where Shiro aimed, and charged up the slope at full speed. Seiichi began to sweat, feeling the pressure mount. This would be risky...

The moment his foot hit the peak of the hill, he applied all the downward thrust he could, and leaped into the air. Shiro moved like a cannonball through the air, fast and powerful, but ultimately to be dragged down by gravity's beck and call. It was at that moment when he began to fall, just halfway to the gigantic Gunman, that he enacted his plan.

He spun around, mid-air and aimed his weapon behind him and towards the ground. He gritted his teeth and fired the payload. KACHOOM, went the barrel of the weapon as a burst of yellow light propelled him further up and further forward.

Up on the deck of the battleship, a few fleeing Beastmen were unfortunate to be running out onto the deck from the path that had been made for them at the exact moment the white and black projectile known as the Beast of Hope struck like an artillery shell. "BWAAA--"

Seiichi's voice rang out over everyone's comms, caught off-guard by the impact's force. The metal groaned and dented inward from where Shiro had impacted, but the Gunman proper didn't suffer any damage worse than what had already been incurred. It shakily stood, teeth gritted as it stepped out to stare up at the red Gunman reigning death from above. Seiichi pointed his hand--coincidentally holding the cannon--straight up at him. "Nobody but NOBODY harms a human soul while I'm around!"

He leaped up towards the top of the command center, landing on a ledge about halfway up; he took a moment to aim upwards and fire another shot straight for what seemed to be the Beastmen Commander before making another jump to complete his ascension.

Ayla was well aware of the battle raging on the other side of the command structure, and is rewarded by her own efforts of a slightly more support based role as she disables the battleship from the head, and sends a message to the general group.

"Try not to damage this thing too much if you can help it, we want to capture it don't we?! Besides, I've taken care of the ones driving it!"

She looks up as she notices that her efforts have drawn attention. Without delay as she sees the flaming Gunman standing there on top of the command centre, the delay for it to pick up one of the cannons was all she needed, given it turned briefly, she leaps forward and takes a gamble with it distracted. This was either going to cripple it, or horribly backfire, she figured.
"You want to burn? NOT GOOD ENOUGH!"
She yells whilst she dives upwards with a dextrous agility, firing some precision explosives to stun it, and then diving her fists forward, adjusting the metla-blasters to focus-fire inwards and obliterate the target as streams of high power high intensity doom spew out from either side of both her fists, focusing on being accurate. She doesn't want to screw this shot up.

"Try not to damage this thing too much if you can help it, we want to capture it don't we?! Besides, I've taken care of the ones driving it!" How was he supposed to keep up with these people!? They had crawled onto the deck, done god-knows-what with the crew, were proceeding to wipe out every moving bit of metal that looked at them funny, and now he wasn't even going to get to wipe out loads at once because these guys had already gotten too attached to their big toy. Yumi had gone and disappeared too. Truly it was impossible to know what was going on. But all of that wasn't what mattered.

What really mattered was all that time he'd wasted! Seiichi probably could've spouted off an entire speech about freedom and humanity being the best while Connor had been doing this. He absolutely had to make up for it somehow; an Elite or two could do, barely.

There were two he saw; the flaming one on deck being attacked by no fewer than half of them, or the hammer-wielding one at the base of the Dai-Gunkaji that had attacked Ringstar. Connor felt he had no real choice here; the ones on deck were better equipped to handle that, Free was less so. Justicar pushed off the fractured armour and began to descend rapidly towards the Elite, levelling its cannon as it fell. "ALRIGHT YOU BEASTMAN PIECE OF SHIT, NO MORE TIME-WASTING," he shouted, unleashing a barrage of shots before he finally landed with a resounding crash.

Grim finally regained its composure and was back in the fight. He saw many of his new-found allies getting hurt. He saw the smoke and debris coming from the battleship's deck that was looming over him. He wanted to get up there and help, but his cannon wouldn't be very good that close. He then saw Ringstar get smashed by an elite gunman.

"You bastard, I won't let you hurt my friends!" Chris lined up the shot and fired three rounds however in his rage, his aim was off. The first round nipped his leg, causing the elite gunman to stumble a little, the second hit the hammer, making it fall out of its hand, and the third round found home at the 'head'. "Damn it, I gotta calm down." Chris then took deep breaths so as to be ready for the next shot.

"I don't think so, you rotten human! Feel the wrath of my Crush!"

Anthony had only a fraction of a second to react as he protected, Ringstar's torso with its arms

*CRUNCH*

The heavy blow sent Anthony and his Gunman sliding for a few dozen meters before being stopped by a nearby mesa wall.

"Uhgh... Shit... That bastard sure packed a hell of a punch. Any damage?"

Anthony punched some buttons as he ran diagnostics.

"No damage to the outer shell. Something got screwed up inside the arms though..."

Throwing a few test punches, Ringstar seemed to be able to continue.

"Gotta ask that mechanic to take a look afterward. But now... THAT ASSCLOWN IS GOING DOWN!!"

With that, Ringstar was off, making a mad dash towards the ivory Kong and its hammer.

"You think a flea bitten, monkey faced, mutt like you is any match for a jaguar like me? TASTE MY MASSACRE SMASH, DONKEY KONG!!!!! HOOOOORRRRRRAAAAAAAHHH!!!!"

As he reached his foe, Ringstar hopped in the air and brought his right fist down on the gorilla Gunman's face, smashing it head first into the ground.

"JUSTICE IS SERVED!! THAT'LL TEA-- EH?"

*KLANGG*

The elite was back up after taking another swing, this time at Ringstar's legs, sending the Gunman down on its face. An audio channel opened up and the Beastman pilot raged.

JUSTICE!?!? Don't make me laugh, pitiful human scum! What would you, the pathetic creatures who killed our Supreme Generals and now rise against the venerable Lordgenome in your misguided attempts to crawl out of your holes know about justice?

The Beastman commander howled in rage as his Gunman pummeled the downed Ringstar mercilessly with its war-hammer.

BHAHAHAHA!!! Fear not puny ape! Our forces will quell the fire of your rebellion and send you back to where you belong!

Try as he might, there was no way Ringstar was getting up from under this punishing hammer.

Where are your scream of pride now, ape? Your JUSTICE!? Your FREEDOM!? I, TYMOLUS WILL RIP THEM AWAY FROM YOU!! RIGHT BEFORE I KI-- GAHHH!!!

Right then Tymolus' Gunman was hit by enemy fire.

ALRIGHT YOU BEASTMAN PIECE OF SHIT, NO MORE TIME-WASTING!
You bastard, I won't let you hurt my friends!

That's all the time Anthony needed. With a vicious tug of his controls, Ringstar was back up.
Moving towards Tymolus, the jaguar-like Gunman took a peek-a-boo stance and started to weave from side to side.

"Thanks you guys! Now it's time we finish this asshole together!"

As the weaving got to a decent speed, Ringstar started punching.

"You wanna make us go back down there? TAKE OUR FREEDOM!?! THINK AGAIN, YOU SONOFABITCH!! You're dealing with humans here!! We never back down, we never surrender, we always get back up!! BECAUSE WE HAVE EACH OTHER!!! AND TOGETHER, WE'RE UNSTOPPABLE!!! OOOOOORRRRRRYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Ringstar's Dempsey Roll was relentless. It hammered away at Tymolus' ivory gorilla until it resembled a white raisin. Anthony stopped to crouch slightly and wound up an uppercut.

"YO CONNOR! CHRIIIIS! SHOW THIS FOOL HOW WE DO THINGS!!! AARRAAH!!!"

The uppercut connected with a resounding smash, sending Tymolus sky high. Ringstar turned his back towards his two partners with a thumbs up, which he then proceeded to turn down, as a sign for them to fill the airborn enemy full of holes and seal the deal.

Inside the cockpit, a battered Anthony looked at the soon to be obliterated Tymolus and quietly said to himself.

"Boom."

surveying the battle though his Gunman's sensors and scopes, Absalom saw the impressive Dai-Gunkaji under attack. while there was plenty of fighting on the ground, it was the combat on deck that drew his eyes. they were aiming for the command center, distracting the commander from the ground battle. it was only a matter of time before the humans won this one...assuming they could defeat all the defenders on deck.

His assistance was needed here.

Adili began to run, constantly picking up speed. once the guman's speedometer was at max it's stride began to lengthen, becoming more of a series of hops than a full out charge. launching it's black frame into the air, it landed on deck between Fist and the elite it was fighting.

"This is The Adili, I've come to assist you. The beastmen will fear my virtue."

lowering it's head, and aiming it's horn towards the elite, Absalom's gunman charged forwards, aiming for the enemy cockpit.

"Thanks for the opening, Anthony." Chris then honed in on the flying gunman. This is for my friends and all humanity, you son of a *****. He fired his rifle and this time, his shots hit dead-on, one to the eye, and another below the mouth. Now all that was left was for Connor to finish him off with his own cannon.

Ladon, as the currently on-fire Gunman seemed to be called, was in a bit of jam. On the one side it had Shrio blasting off bursts of energy from its new cannon, and on the other there was Firestorm showering it with explosives and gouts of flame. All in all, not the best situation to be in.

Unless, of course, your Gunman happened to be capable of changing direction in mid-air.

Four bursts of azure flame simultaneously exploded from Ladon's hands and feet, rocketing the Gunman several yards upwards. The sudden boost in elevation was more than enough to dodge Shiro's ranged assault, and Firestorm's projectiles fell short as well. The two attacks collided just beneath Ladon's current position, providing the Gunman with an explosive backdrop as it descended. Though the mech quickly fell into the path of Firestorm's blasters, quickly being bathed in an aura of fiery-red plasma, the pilot's only reaction was a dull, disinterested remark. "Oh no, you've totally beaten me. Try and burn the Gunman that's already on fire; that's a plan that couldn't possibly fail, right?"

Changing its direction once more, Ladon hurtled towards Ayla's mech, slamming into Firestorm with an incredible *crash*. With a single swipe of its claws, the blazing mech reduced one of Firestorm's arm-mounted blasters to scrap and crushed the barrel on the other, rendering both of the devices useless. Then, swinging a foot upwards, Lado delivered a crushing kick to Firestorm's face, sending the orange robot staggering backwards. "If you're going to try and kill someone, at least make sure that your weapons are slightly harmful to them. Idiot."

Ladon held its ground, as Firestorm recovered its footing and as Shiro finally finished its ascent. The burning mech stood between both of its foes, eyes shifting from one to other as it analyzed them. When the pilot spoke, his words had a certain lilt behind them; it was an easy matter to tell that he was grinning. "What, you think that the two of you are enough to take my Ladon? Tch, don't make me laugh; I'll have both of you in scraps before you put a scratch on me."

The flames around Ladon's hands suddenly expanded, enveloping the clawed appendages in large, burning spheres. Extending its arms, the mech pointed a closed fist at both of its foes, ready to fight, but waiting for them to make the first move.

[hr]

While Shiro and Firestorm's fight raged high overhead, it was slowly becoming apparent that the other two battles, on the ground and Dai-Gunkaji's deck, were coming to a close. Tymolus' Gunman had been the last Elite still standing on the ground, and the few remaining mass-produced units were either being finished off by the infantry units or simply running away in a panic. A few more shots from Justicar, and the fight on the surface was just about all wrapped up.

And although the battleship's deck was still being held by a few cutting-edge Beastman mechs, they were swiftly being pushed back by the combined forces of Fist, Dark Wolf, the mysterious newcomer, and the few Gunman wielded by the villagers. Pachoun's roaring laugh echoed across the landscape and the radio connection, as he used a massive battleaxe he had recently acquired to chop its prior owner in two. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!"

The massive turrets and cannons that had been the Beastmen's sole advantage were useless now, and although a few began to pepper the humans with small arms fire and the occasional grenade, it simply wasn't enough to turn the tide anymore. In a few short moments (Likely filled with lots and lots of explosions), it would all be over.

"Hey, Ladon!" shouted Seiichi, a psychotic hint of glee layered within his voice. He placed the cannon arm he'd looted on Shiro's back, and felt it latch onto some sort of holster, likely meant for whatever weapon this Gunman was meant to possess before the Dreamer stole it right out from the Beastmen's noses.

He took a step forward, and with a thumb made a slitting gesture where the Gunman's "throat" would be. "I like your helmet! Think I'm gonna TAKE IT after I tear it off the wreckage!"

In a mad flurry of heavy steps, Shiro rushed forward, its pilot screaming at the top of his lungs the entire trip over. He swung in with a heavy right hook, only to be blocked outright by a raised fist. The strange, flaming Gunman's outstretched arm was pointed directly at Shiro's (mortified) face. The strange pilot inside the Ladon did nothing but laugh as a torrent of azure flames engulfed the rebel's mech.

"D-DAMN IT!" screamed Seiichi, feeling like the searing flames were cooking him inside his own Gunman. Unable to overpower the mech's stronger limbs, he yanked on his own controls and sent Shiro tumbling to the left, and away from the flames. Even as the charred Gunman shifted back onto its feet, bits of fire lingered on its frame.

In the cockpit, Seiichi took a deep breath and clutched his chest, trying to take a sigh of relief; but the Ladon didn't plan on giving him that moment of respite, and was already rushing forward with another blow. Seiichi barely had time to start lifting his remaining arm before a fist embedded itself straight into Shiro's teeth. "GWAAA!"

Shiro went tumbling head over heels across their battle ground, landing flat on its face and slamming its hand into the ground to skid to a halt. Sparks flew everywhere as its acceleration ceased, and Seiichi opted to lay there for a moment.

Ladon turned away, facing the remaining Gunman up against it, when the sound of shifting gears and groaning metal brought its attention back to the mech it had just trounced. Against all odds, Shiro was standing back up, and from inside a ragged voice called out, "You think you can just TURN AWAY FROM ME?! Keep your eyes set on me, fur-face, and don't take them off until I'm dead. Otherwise..."

"RRGH!" he dropped to one knee, a pain shooting through his own chest translating to his Gunman's movements. "O-otherwise... you might just get SURPRISED!"

In a rapid draw, Shiro yanked the cannon arm off of its back and brought it to bear, firing a fully-powered blast the Ladon's way. It didn't plan on that even making contact, and instead charged forward the instant it fired that shot. Seiichi rushed forward, yelling like a mad berserker and leaping through the air to deliver a flying roundhouse kick to where he hoped the Ladon would be after dodging.
