I find any slang that isn't job related is pointless.

But, then again, i still use slang...

...

So, maybe...

...

No, lets not do this.

This is true,

we need to bring back the classy attire, and live in a time where long jackets do not equally Emo/Homicidal Maniac.

I second this. Except I'd probably forego the jacket and just wear suspenders, a white dress shirt, fedora, and a bookie's armband on one arm

idk if we start bringing back slang, then next thing you know people will want clothing, then prohibition, and before we know it we will have a Great Depression on our hands... Is that what you want a great depression cause your setting us up for it. I need a drink I'm getting all balled up

I was walking down the streets of Chicago and I counted over 15 businessmen in suits and fedoras walking about.
Fedoras are making a comeback, and I am damn happy about it.

No! We need to bring back leather jackets and top hats. I'm doing my part to bring back leather jackets. Hell, I'm gonna change my avatar now.

Dude, you can't have proper steampunk/clockpunk without waistcoats and watches on chains!

What's wrong with prohibition? Alcohol was never as available as it was during the 20s! :D
As for the depression, we'll just have another world war to sort that out. Besides, that might also stem the tide of cold war-esque fanfiction a'la Homefront or CoD. Yes, let's go back to the 20s, good booze, great music, hilarious slang, etc.

I already talk with a huge chunk of dated colloquialisms.

It's so copacetic that I speak of the jive and all the dames love it. It's just the cat's meow.

I tend to use 1920s slang anyway, just due to reading a bit too much P.G. Wodehouse. :p

I'm in too. You can look good doing anything while wearing a suit and fedora.
