Weakness in Gaming

After seeing a post about "Gaming Weaknesses" and discovering it was about what games you feel compelled to get, I thought a thread about things you suck at in gaming would be interesting.

For me, I suck at a lot of things actually.

- Dual-analog controls for FPS (for FP games in general) are things I just can't do well.
- RPGs in general because I don't bother to read important background info or learn the ways to make your character the best possible.
- Rhythm games are also something I can't do well. With enough songs, I get competent, but I only ever really go up to medium difficulty at best.

So what say you escapists? What are your weaknesses in gaming? What do you suck at and are willing to admit?

Driving games (besides Mario Kart), can't get the hang of the drifting half the games demand, which happens to be nessacary to turn without hitting a wall.

In Real Time Strategy games my strategy seems to be "get steamrolled in the most amazing way possible. I get destroyed, toyed with, beaten, made a fool of... and yet for some stupid reason I keep coming back.

I really suck at RTS's, but for some reason I love them.

This is what I can come up with:

- I suck at fighting games because I can't be bothered to learn combos. Similar with rhythm games. I simply haven't got the patience for it.
- I suck at RTSs because I'm too much of a perfectionist when building my base and troops to ever get to attacking.
- I still suffer from Compulsive Reloading Syndrome, though I'm otherwise okay at shooters.

Edit:
- Oh, I hate braking in racing games, which seems to be a necessity for some reason.

Ooo. Forgot about RTS games. I'm terrible at those too. Mostly because I'm too impatient for those types of games. :D

I'm pretty bad at the reloading thing too. In L4D2, I still hit the reload button after so many hits when I'm holding a melee weapon. It's just a force of habit, really. XD

This just about sums up one of them. For some reason, I just do not do large scale strategy very well...

Also, add fighting games and racing games to the list. I am not very good at either, but I still enjoy them.

Fighting games, can't time or execute a directional attack to save my life (SSBB/M), and RTS's, I usually just play them with cheats or a low difficulty so that I can see the story.

Music and dancing games mostly, I think I have very little rhythm, if any at all.
Also not very good at online FPSes, I could try to get better but I get killed every time I try to play, so I eventually stopped.

Compulsive Reloading Syndrome can slowly be cured by using an LMG in a fast-paced action FPS. You'll spend far too long reloading, and eventually teach yourself to hold off on it.

Sports games. The Fifa or NHL kind. I don't know if it's just me not having the hang of tactics or something like that but I always get my ass handed to me in those games.

This is me. Do I have walls on all sides, towers at the gate and a well laid out base? Are my houses laid out like a genuine street is? Are there guards at the gate? Does it look pretty? Tick all of these for my camp.

Is it effective at repelling invasions? Of course not.

I don't have the patience for RTS's, either to learn how to play them or to create a plan of any kind when I start.

And in party-based RPG's I can never be bothered to use anyone other than 'my' character. Discovered earlier that if needs be I can use a whole part quite effectively(thank you, High Dragon in DA2), but I'd rather not. Although tactics screens mean I basically don't have to

I'm horrible at fighting games. And action games demanding split-second reactions. So in short, slow reaction time. Perhaps that's why I prefer JRPGs, reading and pressing at my own pace.

I suck at racing games, the only series I've ever been mildly competent at is Burnout (which tbh just boils down to mashing welding your finger to the right trigger and praying to god all the oncoming traffic will miss you). Ask me to precision navigate my way round a corner at a decent speed in Gran Turismo and you'll wonder whether or not I've got Parkinson's disease.

I spent a good while in some Age of Mythology games demolishing my own buildings so I could get my streets paved. I know exactly what you mean. :D

Driving games. For some reason I have this subconscious urge to crash into things. Prime example: If I am ever playing a GTA game, I can't go more than 1 minute without running into something and causing damage to my car. On a more serious note, in games like Need for Speed, I lose because I crash into things (like walls) during turns.
