I'd have to say the level three Machine Gun from Cave Story.
Why something so standard, you ask?
The level three Machine Gun has so much recoil, you can use it as a jet-pack.
It makes life so much easier.

Left 4 Dead - Fireax and any of the shotguns and only the shotguns.
