I'm in a Medieval reinactment society so I have several weapons in my bedroom. I've got a real bow and a quiver full of arrows. The arrows have target points on them but I could switch them out for hunting points if I wanted to. I also have a real hand and a half Norman style sword that is currently blunted for use in real tournaments. I have a grinder and could sharpen it to a razor edge since its made of the right kind of steel for holding an edge. I also have a katana that is already sharp. It's just for decoration and "shadow fighting" practice as they won't let you use really sharp weapons in tournaments in our group. I've cut through watermelons, 2X4 boards and such with my katana. It's fun.
Hrrm. Is your group that live-steel thing?

Just a fishing knife and several books probably thick enough to club someone to death with.

One of my guitars, a blade that I lost the handle of and can now use as a throwing knife. If those fail, Plan C, the window.

The machete under my pillow, the blue knife in my purse, the other knife by my tv, or if weapons don't count... the red scissors I use for cutting t-shirts, my big black lamp, or the fan by my bed. My room is dangerous lol.

My friend and I once put a baseball into a sock and hammered nails into it. I don't know how well it would work, but it looks scary enough.
Probably my survival knife. Just one tier short of a Ka-Bar.

I have two katanas in my room, a G36k, Streyr Aug, Walther P99, Desert Eagle 50., and military issue Berreta 9mm.

Of course, those are BB guns and the swords have been blunted, so actually I'm pretty armless :p

I have to say, some of the people in this thread are coming across as...ecsentric, to say the least.

I mean really people, guns in your bedroom? How paranoid are you?
I also can't help but wonder how many of the sword owners / other Asian style weaponry owners can actually use them with any proficiancy.

OT: there is nothing in my room that I could practically turn into a weapon, because in most cases I could talk my way out of the situation. In those I couldn't, my fists will do just fine.

I usually sleep with one of my balisongs within arms reach (usually under my pillow), but if we're talking about improvised room weaponry I would have to use my long-sleeve polyester shirt as a defensive weapon and improvised soft garrote. But it's all the way in my closet and I'm kinda lazy about going into my closet <.<

I have my baseball bat, failing that I could use one of the empty vodka bottles on my shelf as they are pretty heavy...last resort my xbox 360's power adapter, swing that at someone's head and they are going down.

If I could get to my dad's room I could get his divers knife or officer's sword.
