Weapons that you have made

I've made a sword, but that worked out rather poorly. Far too soft to be any good.

I once tried to make a home made gun, made of wood, that fired .308 Winchester rounds.
Never finished it, which is probarbly just as well to be honest.

I have a home made mini-nuke in my garage, mostly made out of old car parts and banana peels.

I made a seax, and a half dozen spears, and I held the tang of my sword while the guy hit it thats about it.

Now armour thats a different story, padded aqueton, plenty of mail, even a few pieces of plate ugly flat plate not worked. Plenty of leather too.

Theoretically their teeth could rot & become absessy and they could get blood poisoning and die. Or at least a sore tummy

I made a staff for myself so that I could practice the staff forms that I learned in Tang Soo Do.

Oh, and I once made a dagger out of wood.

EDIT: I'm reluctant to admit this, but I made that dagger with a knife. It's better if you don't think about it.

Hmm... A miniature trebuchet (well it was ten feet tall, but that is small for a trebuchet) a ballista, a guillotine blade on a stick, and a few training swords made of old boards and whatnot. I also carve wooden knives! More fun than it sounds, trust me.

A length of string with rusty, burnt nails in it. Sure to add tetanus to the horrors of war. Also, many, many guns, from rifles, to revolvers made of K'nex.

Mind you, all you need to make a potato rocket launcher is a length of pipe, a deodorant can and a lighter. It was on the news ages ago and I've never forgotten it.

I too have made this, now I don't make weapons per se but I dabble in pyrotechnics for the hell of it.

This reminds me, I was chilling with some kids and spotted a wooden blade in their living room. They proceeded by telling me a story about them getting drunk and high in the woods. They found some hiking sticks and wondered around, once the evening came around, they set up a bonfire, and one kid became paranoid of bears. How could he ever fend himself agaisnt the non-present menace? Why by making a knife out a stick of course! He carved a fairly acute knife; it could definitely pierce flesh. How did he carve the knife? With his own forearm sized knife, fucking ridiculous.

I made Napalm- Molotov Cocktails, Regular Molotov Cocktails, C4, I fashioned a spear when I was a kid, and a bow and arrows. Oh and a bomb

I've a home made air powered rifle in the corner of the room. I've only fired play-doh for safety reasons.

I made two with a friend (one each) and though i haven't tested mine, my friends fires at 220 fps and I'm guessing mine is in the same ballpark.

I haven't but I do have matches and Tag body spray ready, so I could make a flame thrower. But I would rather stock REAL weapons, That way if a terrorist attacked my weapon wouldn't blow up in my face.

I tried making a small crossbow out of stuff I found in my room. It never worked.

1 large Soup Ladel (or Ladle)
a Coil of barbed wire
1 sock
1 billiard ball

Instructions:

Take Ball, place it in sock and tie secure knot in opening. Place sock in cup of Ladel. entwine barbed wire around until sock-ball is secureley fastened.

I made this, I used it to scare the daylights out of the chavs who smoke at the end of my street. I really would have hit one, but I'm small and they're fairly speedy in crises
