Chairs! There are so many chairs lying around everywhere in games yet none where you can pick them up and slam over an enemies head, even though it could be very staggering!
You could use flowers as a weapon in GTA:San Andreas.vdeity said:Flowers.

Weapon: Flowers.
I hate him.
I wish I didn't have to give up Yukino for this... expletive.

Oh, I remember my dragon hally in runescape. Well, not technically mine, but I got it for the person on their account.Akiada said:The Spear.
There's a reason it has been the primary weapon (in varied formats) of humanity since forever - a shortspear (and other variants) make awesome individual combat weapons, and long variants make amazing mass-combat ones.
It's just so... silly that whenever you play a fantasy game it's rare to get a chance to use spear and rarely are they useful or good in any fashion.
Damn straight! Look at it:FortheLegion said:Games need more Halberds

It's like a spear, axe and pick got all glued together. It is made of STAB, CHOP, and PIERCE.
Cross Fire, it is an online first person shooter and you can replace your melee weapon with... A SHOVELAjimboB said:A shovel. You never get to kill things with shovels. I mean, I would expect at least 1 zombie game to let me kill things with shovels, but NO.
And what exactly is the use of that? If an enemy just ran up to you with a knife you would be fucked. I think in games they should use the human brain, example talking your way out of a fight, out smarting your opponent, but no it always must end in *bang* *stab* *BOOM*maninahat said:Sikh arrow catcher: skip to 30 seconds in to see it used well (the first guy who tries to use it manages to screw it up. )
Good luck finding that one in a game.

EDIT:
Jedoro's Ulaks would also be acceptable.
You do actually hit people with it. Each of those 20 chains has a heavy weight attached, that'll deal damage to anyone who gets too near. Many Sikh weapons and techniques were specifically designed to create no-go areas around the martial artists in fights. Many of their techniques involves spinning weapons very fast in a 360 degree area around the body, discouraging people from "running up to them with a knife" in the first place.Dimensional Vortex said:There are a ridiculous amount of people suggesting Japanese weapons and all that, the Japanese may have invented a lot of weapons but most of them...well most of them are crap. All those Japanese weapons often require extreme amounts of animating and (in real life) skill to use and wield them correctly when you often only end up doing the same amount of physical damage someone with a broad sword could do easily.
