A shovel. You never get to kill things with shovels. I mean, I would expect at least 1 zombie game to let me kill things with shovels, but NO.
Point Lookout for Fallout 3 let you smack irradiated hicks in the face with a shovel and with Ghouls. It's close enough.

A nuclear _____. I would have fits if there were more nuke weapons in games. No matter how impractical they may be.
EDIT:
Jedoro's Ulaks would also be acceptable.
Ever played Fallout 3 or New Vegas? If it's nuclear weaponry you want those are the games for it. The Experimental MIRV in Fallout 3 is epic.

OT: A frying pan. Often underestimated is the power of a good frying pan.
I have indeed. Even got a mod that turned the flamer into a mini-nuke launcher. Sodmized my computer, but it was worth it to see fifty mushroom clouds of doom. XD

...that would be so damn cool!
Glowy green metal arcs of death! Muahahaha

And I'd also like to add musical weapons. I love playing bards in mmorpgs. Play an instrument and somehow kill people! :D
Or be only slightly effective

Flails and crossbows, underused and badass.

gotta love a flail.
problem w/ flails is that the motion when you use them would be hard to do well. most games have the same motions for each type of weapon (for example all axes and hammers have the same motion in fable 2, just the appearance changes) with flails you need to creste a new motion pattern for each action, and it would be a very complicated one. it not impossible for games to include flails, but it is inconvenient

I'm saying Tonfa. I've only seen them in one game (Soulcalibur for the Gamecube) and really like them.

Feel free to tell me about games that have used tonfa. Just make sure it's not actually a nightstick, like in Left 4 Dead 2.

I actually haven't seen anything that uses a flag pole as a weapon. And besides shuriken and hand bombs, I haven't seen anything thrown weapons. What about a sling people?!?

Fat Man in Fallout.

There, you're sorted.

Yup. Used the hell out of it. And got modded versions of it. But that is still only one game. I could probably count on one hand the number of games that have let me use nuclear weapons.
That should really change.

I would have to go with the epically named African tribal weapon the Hunga Munga [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunga_munga]. Only problem is that after you throw it all you can do is just stand there and think about what you've done.

Music.

I'd love to see a game where you can kill your enemies with an acid bassline.
Uh...well.

Its no drumset or whatever you might have in mind, but I've seen it do good.

EXPLANATION: Its a Harp from Silkroad, The Harp shoots out this score of music in a colorful fashion and it hurts the monster.
