So, Escapists, what weapons are you proficient in using? Anything that is traditionally used for self defense, sparring, firing ranges counts.

I myself can lay claim to (as in use with complete confidence, and do cool tricks with):

Balisong (My newest toy, my god this thing is fun. (It's the Spy's knife in TF2 for those who don't know))

Fixed blades up to 9 inches

Folding knives up to 3.5 inches

And to a much lesser degree a 6 foot staff

Actually once had a original Katina in my possession. We sold it to a museum but man I loved to practice sword fighting with it, would be good in case a idiot with a knife broke in.

Well, I'm not full trained in either aspect, but I'll answer your questions in two aspects.

Online, The weapons I have used most/trained with, would be the Ak:47/Barrett 50.Cal.

Offline, as in reallife, The most training I've had with anything would be my bokken. (for those uneducated, a Bokken, is a wooden sword used for sparring.)

Those are really fun. One of my friends recently got an authentic Mushashi katana, and I keep bugging him to let me play with it. Man that thing cut through an ash sapling as big as my wrist with no problem.

Rifles, pistols, and swords (Such as a Gladius or Katana) in a pinch.

Edit: Also nunchucks, short bo, long bo, Shinai, and sais. All are probably misspelled, and all are from Martial Arts training.

I became rather good with an ax after some trees fell on my yard. I'm willing to wager few knocked down trees could best me now. Also a darn good shot with a bolt action rifle we fired off in camp. Been awhile though

I'm proficient with knives, mostly because I dislike using guns. With a knife, I know that I'm guarunteed one good shot with a concealed blade, and I feel confident that if I needed to, I could disarm, disable, or destroy anyone in one shot. With a knife, you don't get two.

I'm also an excellent shot with a rifle every time I've fired one, but again, I don't care for guns. I think I could be a hell of a sniper if I put effort into it.

I can also hold my own with a staff, but I wouldn't want to test it.

I'm quite good with a reflex bow. I can hit a head size target consistantly at 100 feet. (no sights) Won a skeet shooting competition a few years back and can swing a hatchet with the best of them. I am also a master of harsh language

Well I've never really used knives or guns or anything like that but I'm fairly confident that i could smack the shit out of stuff with a baseball bat.

My best would probably be my hunting rifle. I can hit a man-sized target consistantly at 500 yards all day long.

I'm also fairly good at trap and sporting clays, so a 12 gauge would be good.

Um, I'd say the SA80, used it at cadets all the time.

I can hit a moving, man sized target at 200 metres 2 out of 3 times. At 100 it's about the same. Not moving up to 400 metres I can get a chest shot no problem, thats the furthest I've shot.

I know my way around one-handed swords, and I'm somewhat skilled in the use of sai and nunchakus, though I don't rise above a mediocre level in either of the latter two.
Aside from that I'm an excellent marksman.
