How often is it acceptable to wear clothing more than once before having to wash it again?

For me, T-shirts can be worn twice between each wash cycle, though I prefer not to wear them on back-to-back days, sweaters and jeans can be worn twice as well, and these ones can be worn back-to-back.

Socks and underwear are one day shots, then into the hamper they go.

panties and socks are a one shot deal, i cant stand feeling dirty underwear on me. Id rather wear none at all than wear dirty again.

Underwear and socks go into the hamper after a wear.

I can wear shirts between 1-3 days, depending on my activity level when I wore it. Although I go several days between re-wearing, if I do.

I tend to wear jeans for nearly a week, but as with anything they go into the hamper the instant they get dirty.

Despite this, my friends & cuddle buddies frequently comment that I still smell like soap. 0.o

Jeans as long as they aren't dirty or anything can be worn up to a week in a row. Depends on what you're doing in them.

Shirts about a day or two long as they aren't too dirty and you haven't sweat a lot in them.

Underclothes and socks 1 day. Have to be changed immediately.

Well...didn't expect this...
That's a slightly misleading title you have there.
Anywho, I completely agree with you, shirts are 2-day deal, sock and undergarments are a 1-day deal, and I put jeans/pants in the 3-4 day group.

I usually wear the same pair of pants for a week. Button-up shirts can be worn 2-3 times before washing. T-shirts last from 1-2 days depending on how hot it is. Underwear and socks only last a day.

Shirts: No more than three days before washing.
Underwear: If you're alone, no more than two days.
Socks: Depending on color, one pair a day.
Pants: Pants never get dirty.

It's not like my mind is always in the gutter, I just happened to drop it when I saw the title. >.>

Pants can be worn 3 times before i put them in the laundry basket, as long as they don't get dirty .
Underwear/wife beaters one time use
Shirts can be worn twice , never within 2 days of wearing it the first time.
Socks can be worn until they smell ( usually after 2 or 3 wears)

Assuming I wear an article for an entire day or most of day, say 12 hours or so:

Shirts: once
Underwear: once
Socks: twice
Non-jeans pants: 2-3 days
Jeans: up to a week or more depending on what I'm doing/going to be doing

Are we talking days in a row, or how many "rounds"? For example, If I sleep in my shirt and therefore still have it on the next day, have I worn it once or twice? Because I never took it off, did I?

If I have to be seen in public, I wash and change my clothes. If I have holidays I will stay at home wallowing in pity and stewing in my own filth. On these occasions I will sleep in my clothes and not wash or change for days on end, up to a week.

Jeans: 3 days
Shirts and long-sleeve undershirts (worn at the same time): 2 days.
Socks: 2 days.
Bra: 2 days.
Panties: 1 day. No exceptions.
Work-out clothes (top & bottom): After 3 workouts.

I tend to stay in the same clothes for longer periods of time when I know I am going to be at home, doing absolutely nothing. Though I try and never wear the same thing for more then four days. But when I go out, I always wash and put on fresh clothes.

I always do laundry once a week on Sunday, unless I am on vacation. Then I make sure to do the laundry and get it all sorted out before I leave. So the days I've put are when the dirty clothes are thrown into the bin, not into the washer.
