I throw shirts into the laundry once every two days, underwear and socks everyday, and jeans once every four days.

Jeans as long as they aren't dirty or anything can be worn up to a week in a row. Depends on what you're doing in them.

Shirts about a day or two long as they aren't too dirty and you haven't sweat a lot in them.

Underclothes and socks 1 day. Have to be changed immediately.

I should probably add that it is when I am being lazy or out for unexpected periods of time that I adhere to that. Most of the time I try not to be and change my clothing daily or every other day(which also equates to how many times I shower) and from that I've realised how insanely hygenic I am compared to some of my male gamer friends.....I blame my OCD......

Well I'll spend days in the same clothes if I don't go anywhere. But if I go somewhere I automatically take a shower and put on new clothes. So it's pretty much a question of how long before I go out in public or meet someone. Though if it goes on three days then I pretty much decide to take a shower and change regardless.
Thank god someone else does this. I was beginning to feel like an idiot!

I wear my briefs for a week in a row sometimes.
/high five!

Real men can get a months wear out of one pair of undies. It's the manly way.

But at the moment most of my clothes no matter what piece they are are worn for at least a week at a time before washing, sometimes longer.

The reason? No washing machine or dryer. It takes fuckin' ages to hand wash everything, especially when you spend half the day hand washing your sons clothes there just isn't time to do everything.

Roll on January when I can get me a washing machine during the after christmas sales!
where are you that there isn't a laundrette within driving distance?
I don't drive, and I live in a crappy little village that doesn't have one anywhere near to me, I searched ages ago for one to no avail :(

I obviously change socks and underwear every day, I wear T-shirts for 2-3 days (depending on activity levels) and change my trousers every 2-3 days, unless they get muddy or something, then they are in the wash basket the moment I get home.

Underwear/socks is 24 hours max.

shirts, generally a day but 2 days is acceptable.
Pants easily 4-5 days so long as you change your underwear.

Jumpers/coats shouldn't need washing often at all assuming you wear something clean underneath.

I think whatever is acceptable is completely dependent on the person (as has been proven by the many posts before mine).

As for myself, underwear and socks are changed daily. Depending on how much I'm sweating, my t-shirt/undershirt is changed daily as well, sometimes every two days. And pants usually last me a week. The true way to determine if it should be worn again is the sniff test, it's universally proven to be effective.

The only thing I'll wear more than once without washing is pants, and mostly just jeans.

But even then, I can't really go more than a couple days wearing something without washing it.

Any form of pants for me can survive for 2-3 days, often in a row. Underwear is a one shot deal, though, and because i wear singlets all the time, shirts can last 2 days for me as well.
Socks for me can deal with 2 days, too.

Depends really. For socks and underpants I change everyday and I change my sock sooner if they get soak from the rain (I hate wearing soaking sock). The rest of my clothings it depend on my activity.
If I'm going to be indoor most of the week as in little body movement like exercise than I will change them once per week. However if I had been been very active or had gotten food stain on my clothing, I would change them sooner.

Socks I wear once, underwear I change when I shower, but for pants and shirts I have a check-list;

Does it look dirty? No. Does it smell bad? No. Did I wear it yesterday? No. Good to go.

other than jeans and sweaters, I only wear them once.
I will not wear the two exceptions if there is noticeable dirt on then if you know what I mean.
The only times I have is if I slept over at someone's house and I have no other change of clothes.

Over washing clothes is not only needlessly expensive and time consuming, but bad for the clothes. I'm sure there are plenty of people you see daily who get more than wear before washing and you don't even notice.

Plus, I'm not lazy, I'm green.

At least double your times for me, probably even triple.
Unless something happens that requires changing.

Hoodies though, I would say can be worn for a couple of weeks, until they get dirty.
EDIT: Not straight though, every few days or so. I never really wear the same hoody or t-shirt for more than 2 days in a row.

It depends mostly on my mental state.
I can vary wildly between a fresh change of clothes every day and the same stuff for a week.
Apart from bras, I don't have many so I try get at least a couple of days out of them.
