I dunno it does look good from a gameplay perspective... But there's an Amazing Spiderman film coming out this week as well. Remember movie game tie-ins guys? They suck 99% of the time.

Batman AA or AC doesn't count, it was just a Batman game. Nothing to do with some random film coming in the same month.

Nice to see how they've learned from Rocksteady though. I hope Rocksteady have opened the door for more good superhero games.

Oh off-topic but how awesome was the Harley Quinn DLC for Arkham City? So was it awesome or was it SUPER awesome?

They made Robin cooler than Batman... That's against the rules right? It has to be!
It is a movie tie in, but this is the 1% time they do not suck. They aren't trying to make "The game of the movie" rather it's related to the movie (it takes place a few months after the events of the film) in terms of being in that universe, but not so much that you're stuck playing through those events.

I would say it stacks up pretty well against Arkham City in terms of gameplay, combat, graphics, and story. It is lacking a bit in the interesting villains department (which Arkham City and Asylum had in spades), Alistair Smythe is pretty much carrying that on his own with the rest just being "RARGH! I AM NOT ACTUALLY SENTIENT! ATTACK!" A few others appear, there is a side mission involving Black Cat (who is actually one of the more annoying bosses to fight). They do seem to be setting things up for a sequel (Osborn has been mentioned to have an interest in capturing Spiderman alive, for instance) and some other hints at future antagonists. Problem is I have no clue if that's setup for the next movie or the next game... I think this game is solid enough that they could expand it out into a sequel on it's own merits and I would definitely play the hell out of such a sequel.

Also: Holy crap Arkham City DLC?! Gotta get on that...
Oh I assume it's out in the US already then? 29th for us poor guys in Europe. If Duke Nukem Forever got one thing right it was releasing in Europe first ^.^

I really should stay up to date with new games already, i've missed MP3, Lollipop Chainsaw and this new Spiderman thing and probably more I can't remember... Any other games would detract time from League of Legends though XD

I'll go and get Persona 4 Arena on the 7th as my next proper purchase, if they actually go and confirm the bloody European release date anyway, don't want another Catherine on my hands...

Come on, I wanna find the Day One Naoto technology without finding some video on Youtube from a month ago showcasing much better things.

Now after the moveset trailer I must find the best way to insert the word "swag" into Naoto's name.

Swagto? No. Naoswag? Maybe. Naoto Swagogane? Most viable I think...

Oh and the AC DLC is freaking epic. Go buy nao, beat the rush!

Well, I assume it released same day in the U.S. I, however, bought mine in Canada as I am Canadian and thus superior to our lowly southern cousins *scoff*

Anyways, it was released on the 26th here. And why are there suddenly all these Americans pointing guns at me... I was just kidding... honest...

Web of Shadows seemed like the best to me until I got to that one mission with the FUCKING SNIPERS.

Ultimate Spider-Man is OK though.

I prefered Ultimate Spiderman over Web Of Shadows. I liked the storyline more.

The new game doesn`t interest me with the things i read about it. Unlike Batman Spidey has powers and i don`t like that he can get beat up and his suit gets torn by little thugs. In the comics (and movies) he punches them out with no effort (he holds back blabla... seriously try to hold back by swinging your whole arm. He should always use his little fingers when he`s up against normal humans).
