Anybody out there know of any good webcomics for me to start? For reference point:

Currently reading:

El Goonish Shive
CAD
Penny Arcade
xkcd
VG Cats
Dumnestor's Heroes

Read all of:

Last Days at Foxhound
Concerned: The Half-Life and Death of Gordon Frohman
Yahtzee Takes on the World

Catching up on:

8-bit Theater

Recommended:

Doctor McNinja
Bob and George
Knowledge is Power
Narbonic
Kid Radd
Dresden Codak

Out of those, my favorite comedy comics are 8-Bit Theater and XKCD, and my favorite overall comic is El Goonish Shive. That said, any good ones out there for my tastes that aren't listed?

If you liked El Goonish Shive you might like

Narbonic by Shaennon Garrity is some brilliant reading and has some really funny bits.
Kid Radd is pretty awesome, parody on 2d games that eventually turns into an animated sprite based epic with a pretty good plot.

Dr. McNinja.
Be sure to read 'em all through in order. They're a bit more like a regular comic book, but they're incredibly funny.

Dresden Codak is cool and weird. If you like XKCD then you'll most likely enjoy Dresden Codak.

Additionally, Bob and George was, I believe, the original sprite comic. It's over now, but the write is going back and adding commentary. The story is amusingly convoluted, but only because you get the amazingly entertaining BS retconning. It's so BS, in fact, that even the characters comment on it.

It's something a bit different, though the artist has been getting lazy lately...

Slackerz (for some reason, I find most of their comics uncontrolably funny)

A Softer World
Pictures for Sad Children
Circle vs Square
Questionable Content

They aren't gaming webcomics but they bring a rare smile, the first two are quite good if you have quite a dark or absurd sense of humour.

The last one has over a 1200 and you would need to read from the beginning, it's a slice of life type thing and it's indie but I like it

Holy crap, Gone With the Blast Wave actually updated again? It's been, what, almost half a year?

If you've played Pen and Paper games, or if you took an interest in Star Wars or LOTR, these two series should be fun little reimaginings of the two.

http://www.darthsanddroids.net/ Darths and Droids and its predecessor,
http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?cat=14 DM of the Rings

Short of that, if you like blood, tits, furries, and people living in hell, http://www.pholph.com/ (Jack) is probably for you. Fair warning, NC-17 what with its depictions of rape and other nastiness. Then again, it IS a comic about people's interactions with the Grim Reaper, who in this case serves as the embodiment of the sin of Wrath. Big focus on hell, the people in hell, so on and so on. Right now the website seems to be down though.

EDIT: Wow, no one mentioned the Perry Bible Fellowship? http://www.pbfcomics.com Big focus on surreal humor, sarcasm, black comedy, and hell, it originated the phrase 'weeaboo'. Though it had a very different meaning than what it means now.

I utterly love Questionable Content, and if you like that, try Anders loves Maria, a bit weird but hugely enjoyble (contains underage sex, just a warning)

SMBC [www.smbc-comics.com] (Saturday Morning Breakfast cereal) Very funny and smart humor. Often turns normal situations on their head.

Joe Loves Crappy Movies (an often funny take on current movies with full fledged reviews attatched to each comic) Joe often gives all movies a fair chance so his ratings are spot on.

This was mentioned before but Awkward Zombie [www.awkwardzombie.com] is make of win. (Gaming related, mostly SSBB character humor).
