Recently, I've been changing around my diet in order to cut some excess weight, and as a result, I've experimented with foods in weird and/or delicious combinations. Which got me thinking - does anyone else have any interesting meal ideas?

Here are some of mine

Peanut Butter California Mix Vegetable Dinner
2 tbsp of peanut butter (normally I used Cheez Whiz, but switched to peanut butter for the better vitamin/mineral content)
500g bag of california mix (carrot, cauliflower, broccoli) frozen vegetables.

Banana Milkshake Oatmeal
1 cup of milk
1 banana
1 tbsp of French Vanilla Syrup
3 packets of instant oatmeal

Ham and Beans Sandwich + Bowl o' Beans
1 can of tomato beans
1 slice of cooked ham
1 english muffin (or 2 slices of bread)

My personal favourite, the Ham and Cheese Omelette Muffin
3 eggs
2 english muffins
1 slice of cheddar cheese (to be broken into pieces and put in the omelette while it's cooking)
1 slice of cooked ham (same dealio as the cheese)
2 tbsp of water (to be mixed in with the eggs before cooking)

I've been told that Peanut Butter & Lettuce Sandwiches are pretty good, although I don't think I'll ever try one.

I once knew a girl who would squeeze Gogurt onto Pringles chips before eating them. She would do this every day, without fail. Also, once I put potato chips on pizza. It was pretty awesome.

Potato salad on burgers. It sounds crazy, I know, but the flavors work well together AND it's more efficient!

My special 'Heartstopper' sub sandwich. It's made out of roast beef, home fries, mozarella cheese and Catalina salad dressing (not the Low-calorie stuff). Literally my favourite sandwich ever, also works in pita form.
Good Lord, that sounds delicious.

Compared to some of these other things mine doesn't sound too strange.

I always put french fries on my burger. Ya know, lettuce, tomato, cheese, ketchup, fries. It gives the sandwich a nice texture.

I've tried a Nutella and banana sandwich. It is good.

I put the inside of a taco on a biscut once. It was awesome.

The most unhealthy thing I've ever concocted was a bacon burger melt. It has bacon, several cheeses, mushrooms, onions, barbecue sauce, thousand island dressing, tabasco sauce, and fried eggs. I'm glad I survived. :)

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who affixes stuff like 'Heartstopper' (HeartBuster in my case) to their insane culinary creations.

Here's my "Poor Man's Spaghetti and Meatballs." This is a simple dish I had to resort to a few times when I ran low on groceries and had no money. You boil some pasta (ramen will do in a pinch), cook and cut up some hot dogs, then mix the two and smother them in ketchup. Takes a few minutes to make, and is actually not bad. I have a weird palate though.

Search bar "diet" and "eat" and "food" revealed "what do you eat," which isn't quite the same thing as this thread, and some other threads not related to food.

Chips seem to go good with a lot of things. I used to eat Chip Sandwiches in buns back in my days of eating chips. Weird, but delicious.

Something I want to try is a Sub sandwich consisting of the following

Canned Tomato Beans with tomato sauce
Lean Pre-Cooked Chicken Breast
Lettuce
Sliced Cheddar Cheese

Pretty high on the calories (anyone know how many calories a footlong whole wheat sub bun would have?), but otherwise healthy and probably OMGWTFDELICIOUS.

Potato chips on the sandwich. Adds a nice crunch.

I also mix all the non-diets for fountain beverages. Usually ends up tasting like liquid skittles.

Neo Kobe Pizza [http://www.destructoid.com/neo-kobe-pizza-a-snatcher-inspired-dinner-in-pictures-130519.phtml], not only is it weird, it's game-related!

Search "food combination" and it's one of the first results.

As someone who doesn't use the forum a whole lot - meh.

Isn't thread necromancy annoying anyways?

I don't find it annoying. It prevents us from having an endless tide of repeat threads.

Unless a thread died for a good reason, like a flame war or something, then you can still bump it.

Two weird ones I like:

Ranch on Oreo cookies - It sounds horrible, but for some reason it's really good. No I was not high when I tried this.

Chocolate Syrup on Pringles - Have to be the plain kind, but it's great. Taste like carnival food.
