I just got back from college, and I noticed a slight pain in my nipple. About half an hour later, my nipple is stinging like fuck. I've put Sudocrem on it, but it still hurts so bad. Ouch.

So yeah what are some weird and unusual pains you've had?

I think it might be something to do with my diet, my stress and/or the fact that I spend most of the time bent over in my cramped bunk bed on my laptop, but every now and then, I also get a stabbing pain in my chest for about 10 seconds that hurts like fuck, then goes away.

A table landed on my fingers once. Figure that one out.

Also recently I've been getting pains in my heel that feels like the bone needs to click back into place but I just can't click it.

Got hit by a car once, broke my lag. That didn't hurt that much, since they had a sweet lil morfine supply in the ambulance.

What DID hurt like hell was getting the emergency cast off. They were twisting my foot sideways and bending it forwards to get it back in the correct position. And no morfine in sight for miles of course.

EDIT: I apparently need to clean my glasses. Read worst instead of weird. Anyway;

Haven't actually had any weird pains, aside from the occasional pain in the chest area.
Or does having a big bruise and NO CLUE whatsoever as to where it came from count as well?

I get "ice pick" headaches, they are these sudden excruciating pains like somebody just hit you in the back of the head with a hammer. They are small and concentrated and only last a couple seconds at a time.

I get throbbing pain in my left knee from time to time. You'd think it would be from my knee surgery, but that was on my right knee...which also throbs sometimes, but surgery explains that.

Every few months (I'm talking 7-8+) I get a stabbing pain in my chest for about 10 seconds that hurts like fuck then goes away.

I've never figured out what triggers it.

Enjoy the nightmares about the alien inside you :3

OT: I came on this thread just for this since I don't really have any strange pains.

Good luck Matthew, mouahahaha!

A localized migraine in the left side of my neck, head and left eye accompanied by an overall strange hypersensitive sensation in the same area that is permanent. I've tried everything: had my eyes tested, changed monitor brightness thinking it could be that, tried not using a computer at all, been prescribed obscene amounts of painkillers. Had an MRI and CT scan showing nothing out of the ordinary. Still a complete mystery.

Been there for at least 18 months.

All I can say is, that there is no implant in your chests that is collecting data about humans and planet Earth in preparation for alien invasion and sending the data back to in short 10 seconds bursts.

However,

I did experience this just yesterday. I was in the kitchen, cooking, and I had to put cover the on the smoke detector with a sock (damn thing is too sensitive), so I decided to be lazy and just jump and hang it, rather than get a chair and step on it. Upon landing I felt exactly that - it was a very short but still strong pain, and "ice pick" would actually describe it quite nicely. Lasted around a second, though. But I figured it was because of the lamp that shone exactly into my eyes at about that point. So, erm, how often would you say you're getting these? I guess I'll just watch out and go to the doctor if it starts happening again.

I've had mine for years, they happen in the back of my head a little bit up from the neck and off to the side, sometimes they can also be at my temple. I can't say exactly what causes them, but I'm pretty sure stress makes them happen more often. They are a chronic tension type of headache.

Yours, like you said might just be eyestrain from the light, but if it does start happening more than once, don't panic, they are kind of like migraines were it's just a pain in the butt (neck?) headache and not something more sinister. That being said, a doctor's visit would be better safe than sorry in that case.

Well, when I get stressed or panicky, I get massive headaches. Suppose there's nothing really strange there, aside from frenzied, possibly dangerous mental state that comes with it, and that's more to do with me being, well, mental.

I do sometimes get odd pains and aches, generally around nightfall, between about eight pm at the earliest, and half past midnight at the latest. There's probably some obscure, scientific explanation, but I don't really care.

Does it always come on when you breathe in and then you can't breathe for a couple moments?

OT: Yeah, that ^ ... only it's once every few weeks instead of months. Added to that, my knees occasionally throb with a dull pain that means I can stand for much more than a few minutes, and the cyst at the base of ribcage decides it wants to move and does so much to my chagrin.

I get the weirdest cramps on the right side of my back every once in a while. I sleep on my belly, so if I'm laying in bed and am drifting to sleep, I'm always nervous that the cramp will come back (I only feel it when I lay down in bed) and keep me from sleeping.
