In a video I saw (from a norvegian tv channel I think) I could easilly see the beam from the projector, so this is something projected on the sky from the ground.

yea it does look like one of those holiday projectors.

My guesses:
It's a tear in the 4th dimension
It's a tear in the 5th dimension
It's a meteor or satellite (or space-ship) of some kind that had broken one half of it's engines, or thrusters or whatever, and started spinning - before it crashed - either away from us, or towards us.

Whatever it is, I doubt a home projector would be capable of creating such an illusion. It might be electomagnetic in origin, and with our magnetosphere beginning to flux like it has been, who knows. Then again, it could always be weapons or travel developement or use by us or extra-terrestrials.
