Weirdest combo ever purchased.

Hey guys.
I was in the shops the other days and got a weird look from the checkout chick for the items I was buying, which were;

Duct tape.
Shoes.
Kerosene.
Chips.
Vaseline.
A small hair dryer.

The way she processed my purchased goods seemed almost insultingly slow, with occasional glances up to check if I might actually be serious about wanting to by this combination of items.

So, tell me Escapists, whats the weirdest set/combo of items ever purchased at the same time?

2 boxes of cereals
Plastic cutlery
1 bottle of milk

Not too weird, but bound to get a funny look.

I was going to get some drain cleaner from the store one night when I remembered that I also needed a new box of cereal. The check out woman didn't want to sell me the drain cleaner at 10 at night with cereal as my only other item.

I bought 3D Dot Game Heroes and Killzone 2 at the same time.

Two completely different games that few gamers would ever lump together.

So, I felt very weird.

You were going to pour the cereal and milk into the plastic box, and eat your giant "bowl" of cereal with plastic spoons!

I once bought a box of cookies, soda, a loaf of bread, two jars of icing, axe body wash and tampons. (I'm a guy, so just having tampons was out there) of a gaming nature I once bought a Star Ocean 3, The Sims 2, and Devil May Cry all at once, the guy behind the counter was shocked to say the least.

Tampons are good for nosebleeds, I hear.

I would've been a bit scrambled if I was the gamestore cleric serving you, I'll admit.

I can top that when I got 3D Dot Game Heroes I also bought God of War 3 at the same time

Ha did it a year a go in the middle of town.

The checkout woman asked us if we'd just got out the pub.

I was helping to fix a shed, and didn't realise until I'd got to the checkout that I'd bought

Hacksaw & replacement blades
Heavy duty black bags
Caustic soda
Rat poison.

Got such a funny look from the cashier I felt the need to say "Don't worry, I'm not planning to kill anyone!". Which is basically the most suspicious thing you can say in those circumstances.

Hairbrush

Sausage rolls
Milk

Not odd in itself, but the fact I did it at half 1 in the morning and considered these things essential at the time was.

And I once bought a lot of Jägermeister and bread, and tried to pass it off as my weekly shopping to the people there.

I would have to say that takes the cake for weirdest game combination ever.

As for me, I picked up a pack of fireworks, goldfish (the living kind with gills), and duck tape. The cashier said she felt sorry for the goldfish and I couldn't understand why until I was back in the car.

I had quite the chuckle when I realized she thought I was going to send some aquatic life to the moon.

15 jars of peanut butter, 10kg of rolled oats and a hot chicken (those precooked ones from the deli section of the supermarket). The cashier at woolies looked very confused and a bit concerned, tried to bite her tongue but couldn't help saying "So...you really like peanut butter?" as she handed us our bags. Before my friend could answer I shot back with "I'm going to fill a bathtub with rolled oats, lather myself with peanut butter and jump into it." and walked out the store.

I don't have a peanut butter and rolled oats fetish...though I can't say I've ever tried it. We were actually buying a weeks worth of bait to trap bandicoots for a PhD project.

A crate of beer and some strawberries... It's probably not the weirdest combination, but it's certainly the most counter productive I could think of.
