I was scared that werewolf would leap off the rooftop and eat me. I absolutely refused to go outside during full moons.

I was terrified that whenever I took my shirt off an arrow would fly out of no-where and hit me in the chest. I'm still pretty uncomfortable shirtless.

The Phantom of the Opera. I was terrified of him when I was around 11, which is kind of weird, considering I dressed up for him almost every Halloween prior. I guess I finally understood what he actually was around that time.

The logos resorts would put at the bottom of their pools. For some reason, I thought it would open up and a shark would come out, and sharks were a more reasonable fear I had as a child.

Guy Smiley. The game show host from Sesame Street.

When I was 5, I had a dream where I called him stupid (that's a HUGE insult for a 5-year-old, lol), and he stopped his show, looked at me through the screen with eyebrows in "Angry face" mode, jumped through the screen and started strangling me. I'm 28 now and STILL remember the dream...and also my son watches Sesame Street and I am always a little on edge to see if he shows back up, lol.
holy shit..thats top notch stephen king material right there :p

I wasn't allowed to touch the floor of my bedroom because there was a crocodile under my bed that would only come out at night when it's dark.
I had a crocodile that hid in the kitchen after dark...might be the same one?
Nah, yours was probably just one of those irrational child fears.

Jokes, it's quite possibly the same one. I just havn't seen it (not even once) so we couldn't identify it even if we wanted to.. :C

Spiders. Goddamn spiders. Not real spiders, I didn't mind those. But their web always reminded me of this scene in a bad horror movie called "Arachnophobia" which I watched when I was 10-ish. You know the kind of web that's thick, grey and old? Like in a tool shed, huge abandoned fucking webs. We had those in our basement and shed outside.

When you a see a huge ass spider jumping into a face from one of these webs...it doesn't treat your child mind well...

When I was around 10 years old, I used to always pull my covers in my bed all the way up to my chin and made sure my neck was covered because I was afraid a vampire might bite me.

I started to have fears of getting old since the age of 6. Now being 21, I really don't care anymore.

My teacher was a woman of faith, who taught us that when everyone in the world believes in Jesus, he will come and take us all with him to heaven where we will live.

For some reason, I was horrified that this would happen before I finished Donkey Kong Country, because I couldn't see how I would be able to play the Super Nintendo in heaven.
