In Army of Two on the aircraft carrier a friend was using the missile launcher (the one larger than the RPG) pimped. Early on he was reloading and a cutscene happened, the missile from the reloading animation clipped into his hand and became stuck there. For the remainder of the level and in cutscenes he had a huge gold missile sticking through his hand.

I cant remember. i've had quite a few bodies being stretched crazily, like in Bfbc2 or Assasin's creed. I believe I have fallen through the ground in a game or two... nothing memorable sticks out.

(If you're old enough, you know what I'm talking about.)
((Also F'ck "Victor" for pulling the audio on the original.))
What in the nine hells is that from?

OT: I was going to make a thread about this, but I might as well mention it here. This isn't the weirdest glitch I've ever seen, deciding that would take a lot of time pouring over old games. But sometimes in DA2, when I kill an enemy it doesnt die. It's HP bar is completely empty, but it just stands there. My team mates throw all their spells at it even though it should be dead. Usually it falls over after about thirty seconds, and it's really only a problem if there's still other enemies that aren't glitched. and my party members focus on the one that's apperantly immortal.

I have played Lego Racers 2 multiple times over the years, but only on my most recent playthrough did I encounter a pair of weird glitches:
1) falling THROUGH the loop-de-loop (on the last lap, naturally)
2) hitting a specific point in a tunnel (I like to pull off a tunnel roll Italian Job-style) causing me to get flung way away from where I was going

Like I said, never happened before - was quite taken aback. Amusing though.

There was one instance in Jak 2 where I was in metal head territory riding my air-bike thing (whatever they called it) and all of a sudden the world ended and I fell into nothing-ness.

I was just driving along on like a sidewalk, and then the sidewalk ended as well as everything else around. I didn't notice so I kept driving, and then just kept infinitely falling further and further away from the level. I imagine it's what people thought the edges of the world would look like before they found out the earth is round.

Also, another one was in Oblivion when you climb on top of Castle Skingrad from inside the courtyard (which is every easy to do). You can jump off and start falling infinitely away from the map but then you just instantly find yourself standing back in Skingrad Courtard again =S and when you're on top of the map, you can jump behind the door you used to enter skingrad courtyard and attack people from behind it without the possibility of being attacked.

So many rumours and so much misinformation. Missingno is a legend.
No Its not. I myself have fought and defeated MissingNo!
He didn't say missingno was difficult; he said it was a legend, something that sparks interest in people because it is unknown to them. Which is true, when I was a kid missingno was a legend. We didn't have internet access or resources like we have today so one the most forunate of us ever got to see missingno and were then able to tell our friends about it, thus quickly making it a legend. In reality it's just a glitch that shouldn't be there, but we were kids, we didn't know that, we thought it was a secret super special pokemon or something and told legends of it.

I think mine would be:

Assassin's Creed: one archer on top of a tower in the Kingdom was standing kinda diagonally. It even fought in that position, and it happened all the time I approached it. Anyone else had it?

Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green: zombies would start to attack, but instead they would scream in one place. If you went far away from them they would go on with their zombie business but when you approached them again they would do the same screaming for eternity thing.

Big Rigs Over The Road Racing: Ha. Ha. This whole game is a fucking glitch. And yeah, I've bought it, even if it was 1000 Forints (about 5 bucks).

Still Life 2: Vic would sort of "collapse" at one point and the game couldnt go on. Was weird, looked like if the character model had a seizure and gave up playing...

Jedi Outcast: not a glitch, but I spawned a lot of stormtroopers into the last room where you fight the final boss, then noclipped back to an earlier place and walked into the room. A cutscene was triggered and as Kyle walked in and started talking all the stormtroopers would shoot him to pieces. Funniest thing: he and Desann would continue to converse, even though he was already dead.

Hitman: Blood Money: God this is a goldmine of funny stuff. Once the sheik you have to kill in the casino was freaked out by me when I was running around in the room, and then ran out. Now, if you leave that room, all the guards are going to shoot you. Then, when thinking about what I should do he was teleported back into the room and got the phonecall, according to the gamescript, and then proceeded to leave the room, but in the wrong direction. What more, he went right through a fucking wall. I was laughing my ass off. Then there was a guard who I strangled near that waterfall in the second level, after which he appeared on the thin air walking out in nothingness towards the waterfall. Then he took a slow turn, looked at me, readied his gun (as if he just recognized me) and finally started falling down. Looked like a Looney Tunes cartoon with a twist. But my favourite is the part when I threw off a worker from the railing above the stage in the opera house in Paris, only to have all the guards run towards him and tell the corpse to get off stage... This game is only made more awesome by its enormous bugs.

And lastly, not mine but had me laughing on the floor:

A mysterious thing called a search bar that I reccomend you use.

Well, once upon a time, a bird flew into a mountain. Then another. Then another.

I have another one that happened recently, though I think it's just because the disc is old. I was playing FFX, and during the scene where Lulu rides that snowmobile with Tidus, two times when she was talking the game forgot to move her foreward. So she just slid off the back and vanished in the distance, but was somehow still talking to Tidus. The second time the game even zoomed in on where she was supposed to be, but there was just an empty seat. Had me a nice WTF moment, lol.

Deus ex human revolution. My HUD just disappeared. and nothing will bring it back. No health bar, energy meter, reticules, radar ammo count weapon its all gone. Just a clear screen making the game damn near impossible.

I've gotta mention the Doctor glitch at the start of Fallout Vegas. That was really disturbing. He was sat on the couch with his head and neck spinning 360 degrees while his body was perfectly still, all the while explaining my situation in calm tones of reassurance lol.

Fallout 3 i got a Behemoth corpse stuck to me for like an hour. I had my foot stuck in it's head and was dragging it round behind me, all the time it was squelching and blood was squirting out. It also absorbed bullets

Saw the video game, i saw a toilet door that was broken off it's hinges and decided to try to close it and fell through the level. The reason i mention it is because it was the first door of the game. Some really high class play-testing there lol

GTA4 had some nice glitches but my favourite is when the main bridge between the first 2 islands disappears and your driving on nothing, or when your car disappears and you are just floating down the road with 4 wheels and nothing else. It was especially good on the mission with the corpse in the boot, and the corpse on the back seat lol.

Good times

I built a house in Terraria once. Whenever you opened or closed the door, you got a free door in your inventory.

There was one in Fallout 3 & New vegas where an NPC would lose its cohesion and would start flinging all over the place.

Any MMO where you drop off the world. my fav was in WoW taking the boat from ratchet to Booty Bay, ending up sailing through Stonetalon Mountains, falling off the boat, endlessly falling in the Twisting Nether and dying somewhere under Nagrand... had to use task manager to end WoW and when I relogged on I was standing alive at the Nagrand graveyard...

You filthy door pirate, you!

OT: Erm, not really a glitch, but in HL1, if you noclipped far enough up or down (or dropped out of a level), you'd end up in a duplicate of the level.... minus all the entities. Once spent awhile wandering around in one of these level clones when I noticed the water and the buttons were missing ><

Yeah, I remember wandering off the world a few times in WoW... sometimes deliberately and sometimes by accident.

One of the deliberate times I wandered off the edge of Loch Modan, then fell off and died. Fortunately I was in a group queueing for the battleground, so I got a free res :D.

I didn't even want all these extra doors!

And the same kinda thing happened to me in Unreal Tournament, except that is was basically just a tiny box with the background to the level in it.
