Welcome Back (To error codes)

If you were unaware, Sony's 'Welcome Back' package for PSN users has been released, and lo and behold when I tried and open the PlayStation Store (which was working fine before the package was released) I got an error code. This happening to anyone else? I live in Europe, so it might be updating late or something similar.

Yeah, its due to heavy traffic though. I waited 5 minutes and managed to get my month of PS+ rather easily.

More than likely they heavy traffic code.

I'm sure you can wait a few minutes/hours longer.

When I tried to get my free games, I got an error and now I can't get to them at all... Are they going to fix that, or do I have to call Customer Support and ***** on my phone ?

I'm going to wait until tomorrow morning before I get on with my downloads - that way the traffic will have dropped enough to be able to get something done.

Yeah, the thing is wildly unstable at this point. There are error codes left and right on the thing. The "Welcom Back" program is non-to-stable either. It ate one of my free games (I was trying to get Dead Nation and Wipeout HD. I can only get Dead Nation for free game 2, and free game 1 is not showing up at all. I think it either ate free game 1, or I somehow got Dead Nation twice, due to a confusing setup).

go to the XMB and under the PlayStation Network column, go to Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to download the games

It gave me an error code as well, and I kept trying though. It worked after a few tries.

Yeah unfortunately that gives me an error code everytime I try.

Heavy traffic is causing issues. I'd rather not add to the issues for others.

Give it a week or so before you bother phoning customer support, there'll be loads of people wanting to download them.
