This town is starting to sound a little sleezy with all these thieves, overpriced vendors and male whores.

We would travel next door to the mid western brotherhood and join. After training, power armour and laser rifles for all. The mid western brotherhood only really fights raiders assuming the calculator is dead already. Hopefully the good ending is canon.

I'm a musician so not sure how that helps with anything...
Ever heard the story of...the lonesome drifter? Just wait in front of a billboard until a someone either gives you a business card to play music in one of the safest places in the wasteland or until someone tries to steal your guitar or kill you for your unique gun because they don't have 50 barter.

This is a step by step guide of what i would do.

1) Take the group and find a nice building in town to be the town hall/command center.

2)Set up jobs that the people are good at. I would be the cook for every one(until step 5)

3)Now that i have a town ith a farm, bar, water source (like a water tower or something), and town hall/Command center, and housing. Then i will send out search parties to look for more people, scrap and other supplies, like food, weapons/armor and make a armoury and more buildings for the people to live in also walls to keep out animals and raiders.

4)Find the person most trained with shoting and such and have said person train the rest and start a town guard.

5)After we make a secure town i will make the town hall into a fort with ,mess halls, barracks, command center, gym and training area, and the armoury will be there. i will be the new commander.

6)Then make a millitary of some sort and go out to make the wasteland a better place.

7)Bring in the people we save with our new millitary might and expand the town turning it into city.

8)Live my life as king of the wastes. The End

EDIT: I added some things i forgot when i first posted this. EDIT 2: Crap i just read the op's edit and now im just a cook for the town but if i did'nt have to share the town then i would do the above.

Not much is know about your...lonesome drifting but you did pass through Zion valley so you probably just went from town to town righting wrongs and playing songs and you kept a mental side note saying if you happen to find your dad then ask him a few questions but it's no big deal.

The only thing I can bring to the table really is my willingness to kill. So suit me up, give me a gun and point me at the nearest raiders. I'll probably just kill raiders and scavenge their weapons and stuff for the town.

But if I see a Deathclaw, I'm freakin gone, xD

Be kidnapped by a gigantic mothership right after my Vault-dady died to protect me and is project, fight my way out to the bridge, destroy another alien mothership and make an entire new faction with Enclave ex-members, weird people from diferent countries and some weirdos that act like Irish and Frenchmen, an Alliance with the Capital BOS, an underwater capital and a ground and air force that would make the NCR army look pitiful.

We can have Mothership Zeta crew mod in this world, right? Pleaaaaase?

I like to imagine I would become a leader of men and bring order to and a sense of civilisation to the wasteland.
Realistically I would drink myself into oblivion and die.

I'm a journalism student, so I'd probably end up working with the radio station or the library guys. Maybe as time goes on, I can find work as a gritty, hard-boiled post-apocalyptic private eye type. Then again, maybe I'll just go join the Legion and try to get into the Frumentarii. That would be an interesting life.
