Looks like just another case of one loudmouth saying something bad about games after which a whole bunch of other loudmouths compulsively spew their own bile into the world, people get all angry for a bit, nothing of note is achieved and next week it'll be business as usual again.

There's already a topic about Sarkeesian's "attack" tweets over in Games Industry Discussion. Sufficient to say is that expressing a wish for something other than violence and fighting as staples in triple-A games isn't exactly the same as attacking violent games. More precisely, saying you want to see something else is very, very far removed from calling violent games murder simulators and wanting them banned on the grounds that they turn gamers into psychopathic murderers. See the difference?

If I want violent media I should have a right to it, any attempts to prove it makes us violent always turn out to be bad science anyway or cases of correlation not causation.
