Congrats! All good things to those who wait, I guess.Your Local DJ said:You were right
It takes like 4 hours
Finally got it.
LOL the second time I played Oblivion I was like "my last game I went to the assassin's guild and murdered the shit out of everyone... I think this time I'm going to try and do the exact opposite..." I started wandering, but instead of wandering into town I decided to explore the country side. First hit from the first enemy in the first little cave I found and BOOM vampire. Really at that point in the game curing vampirism ends up being a huge pain in the ass.killer12480 said:You must remember.....Becoming a vampire works the same in Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind. You have a "chance" of being infected. I once played Oblivion for about 3 hours, letting the vampires beat me into a mushy little pile of guts and failure. I didn't get infected. Then, I was doing Azura's quest. The very first vampire I encountered was a monk. She ran up to me an punched me in the face and BOOM! Infected. Just keep at it, champ. You'll get it. Best of luck, fellow Dovahkiin.
Well damn, if that's true, that sucks! Now I can no longer become a werepire!Bobbity said:If you've already been a werewolf, then I don't think you can become a vampire. That said, I think it does work the other way around, so maybe someone could give that a shot?
There is also a Daedric artifact that gives you a second Werewolf transformation.EvilMaggot said:The game is just telling you go werewolf instead(also... no effing downsides from werewolf transformation

Most poisons are very temporary. I think the longest one I had was 10 seconds.blastinburn said:I thinks there's a problem with diseases in the game. I was poisoned at one point but when I checked my active effects it wasn't there.
What kind of second transformation? Like one on top of the standard one? Or just another chance to become a werewolf?Kopikatsu said:There is also a Daedric artifact that gives you a second Werewolf transformation.
Also no regenerating health, but on the plus side you an feed on people t get you health back. This, combined with the roar that makes everyone flee, allows you to single out people and eat them away from their friends, such a fun timeTheSaw said:Actually you become effected badly by silver weapons, and if you run into the Silver hand bandits, they can be quite the problem. You also sleep a lot less, which isn't much of a problem, but the well rested bonus is nice and if you don't sleep you can't get that obviously.EvilMaggot said:The game is just telling you go werewolf instead(also... no effing downsides from werewolf transformation

OT: I don't know what to suggest, except getting hit more by vampires, or maybe different types of vampires since there's ones like "fledglings" and such.
Being a werewolf gives you 100% disease resistance. Did you check to make sure that that buff went away when you 'cured' your lycanthropy? If it didn't then your going to need to find a way to debuff you disease resistance. Start eating crap at random.Your Local DJ said:I was already a werewolfEvilMaggot said:The game is just telling you go werewolf instead(also... no effing downsides from werewolf transformation

Watch, the game broke because I became a werewolf and cured it, now I can't become a vampire
