Well as the title says, Easter is just round the corner. And the same as every year I get lots of chocolate inside me and also get the feeling that the original meaning of Easter is lost and has just become another corporate holiday.

What do you think?
Do you celebrate Easter in a religious way?
Just eat lots of chocolate?
Or just feel it's another corporate holiday but thankfully gives you days off?

Both of the last two, I guess. Kinda sad in a way, but who can argue with chocolate?

Nope, no celebration. Enjoy the days off, though. Usually they mean a lot of nice weather and skiing trips with hot chocolate and other yummies.

To me Easter is more than just eating stuff... it's another year I get to try to kill that damn elusive rabbit...

The "original meaning of Easter" I take it you mean the Pagan life fertility thingy?

The anglo-saxon goddess of spring?
Well I mean that there are different holidays celebrated by different religion, I just want to know if the traditions are still there.

The bunny is a remnant from when they smashed Christianity together with the Pagan Eastre.

EDIT: Sniped. By three people.

I don't think of holidays in a religious manner. I think of them as a chance to get together with the family, have a little fun on the day off.

Well the easter holiday is probably the only thing I like. Maybe the food too, for some reason every holiday meal includes meatballs.

When is Easter again?

Hounestly, to me it's just a bay where a magical talking dire-rabbit goes around feeding people chocolate chicken eggs. It's that screwed up. But chocolate bird eggs, oh yeah. Sweet delicious chocolate!

EDIT

...But then it turned into a unicorn-snake-thing. I just roll with the punches.

I celebrate it as a Christian! This Easter will be the first Easter with my wife, so that'll be nice. We're both in the Easter choir at our church, which is shaping up to sounding pretty sweet!

Other then that, it'll be a nice relaxing day.
