While all of this is baseless rumor-mongering, if Nintendo does go through with this (as we will eventually find out at E3), I would applaud them for taking this kind of risk but will be skeptical of it's practicality and success. I mean, sure, the Wiimote had a pretty big impact, but the same was said about the Wii Balance Board and, well, that didn't have nearly the successful impact as the Wiimote did.
