Well, that was a disappointing apocalypse.

I can't quite remember... I was either at a friend's graduation or out with my family eating. Funny, as it was the end of the year, or at least for seniors, we had an enjoyable night starting from around 5:00 PM. I watched the time until it hit 6:00 PM and made it a point to yell "HA!". I said it in my mind though as not to draw unnecessary attention to me.

>_>
<_<

I still have another week of school, and it's not easy either though. I have about 3 projects and an essay due on that week. Fuuu....

Well if you actually wanted to believe that interpretation of the rapture then you have not accurately read revelations whatsoever. It's very clear the apocalypse will take not 5 months like this man predicted to start today but 7 years. IDK guys I call b.s. on this one.

I think we have to wait until "October" 21 to finally see something happen. Apparently, yesterday (In my time) is the moment where selected people go into heaven but the destruction doesn't begin until October 21.

I'm not buying into this at all.
All I'm saying is this...This better not screw up my Holloween or there is going to be a Very upset Zexion Cosplayer.

Pretty sure I was playing Arcanum. Might also have been The Witcher 2, didn't really watch the clock very closely.

Went to a wedding, then watched the unrated version of Doomsday when I came home.

Not a bad rapture, got me a nice tan. Perhaps next time I'll win big at the craps table.

We will all watch you snap into a slim jim, in heaven.
Indeed! Great was his sacrifice, his selfless and valiant death will not be forgotten.

The most frustrating thing about this stuff is, as a Christian, this doesn't look good on the rest of us or anything.

Also, before anyone makes a joke by saying, "Well, believing in an imaginary friend like that is really what doesn't make you look good," let me just preemptively respond by saying save it for the RaP forum.
I think that most of people in escapist do not care if one believes or not (or I like to think this way), like I don't. I't cool, but when some crazy dudes are starting to claim "the end is coming tomorrow (or whenever) REPENT you sinners REPENT!!!", it gets amusing to say the least. Strong fundamentalist and believers that go public with their stupid messages is what gets the correspondance ;)

meh, i survived the y2k apocalypse, this is nothing compared to that, i mean doesn't anyone remeber the anarchy of every computer in the world not being able to process the 1000 year roll over
Oh shit, this reminds me how boring the 2000 started for me. I was at my parents house doing nothing. Ohhh, that was booring. Made a promise to myself that I would not have such a booring new years day ever never again :D Well I think thats not even possible ;)

Actually, a few friends an me put together a little playlist of songs that would fit REALLY well with the apocalypse on Rock Band and started playing that like 20 minutes before it was "supposed" to happen.

So it was a little bit of R.E.M., The Doors, Iron Maiden and the like. And we ended with Paradise By The Dashboard Light.

SO NOW I'M PRAYING FOR THE END OF TIME!
So hurry up aaand arrriiiive!

Needless to say, our awesome efforts to spend our last couple of minutes turned out to be a great disappointment.

So yeah, we just played Alive by Pearl Jam after that to comfort ourselves. :p
