I was hanging out with my best friend from grade school and his two kids, his fiance, and his future brother in law. We had Chinese food and laughed about people taking this doomsday shit seriously.

Playing Portal (again), being angry at people, trying to survive while some horrible kid sleeps on my bed and breaks my stuff... and watches porn on MY laptop... and smokes in MY room... I was hoping I could throw her into the rapture...

But yeah, since 1999, apocalypses have been a huge let down. I hope that December 21st 2012 is more interesting, but there's no way it can live up to the hype.

The thing that bugs me about these events is that you never hear anything after the event doesn't go ahead. I mean where's the interview with the guy now that we aren't all dead?

Probably asleep. We had the Rapture early over here in Britain, so we got it out of the way nice and quickly. Yeah, not setting global times and dates for your apocalypses is a really good idea.
You guys are still on Earth? Heaven is AMAZING - we have unlimited bandwidth here, and the games are awesome. I'd write more, but I'm working on finishing up Half-Life 2 Episode 3 before moving on to Half-Life 3 and Portal 3!
