So I was walking outside when a dog started to follow me. The dog seemed friendly, so I let it follow me. When I made it to my house the dog was still with me. I digged through my pocket to find my key, until I felt something on my shoe. I looked down and saw the dog sniffing at my foot. I just ignored it and kept digging for my keys. I found the keys and I felt some on my foot again. I look down to see that the dog loved my foot so much that he decided to piss on it. I shooed the dog away and yelled fuck in every single way possible at the dog while it ran away to piss on some other guys foot.

So have you ever had any strange encounter with a man or animal?

I've had a cat that I passed which followed me and purred like a mother f****r. It was acting all sad, desperate for love and hungry that I went to a local shop, bought a plastic fork and a tin of cat food I went back.

When this cat saw me (and the catfood) it came towards me like a ballistic missile and was overjoyed. I dropped the food onto the ground, the cat ate it, and was then like "yeah cheers bro, see ya." and left me.

Thought I'd made a friend, instead got manipulated by a hungry cat :-/ I am not a smart man.

We get a few squirrels in the garden and one day one of them just went completely fucking mental for no reason. Normally they'll scurry up the tree when other things appear but this thing was running around on the ground, hissing at everything, and lunging at birds. The noise it made will haunt me forever...

I was on holiday in florida and went to busch gardens (which incidentally is an amazing place, its a theme park and a zoo rolled into one) anyway i was watching the gorilla which is in this massive pit about 30-40 feet deep and you look down into it. I was sat there for a while watching him and a few other people joined me all of a sudden he shat on his hand and he tilted his head and admired it for a few seconds. Luckily i knew what was coming next so quickly darted round the corner some old lady looked at me with confusion as to why i darted and she got hit in the side of the face by a shit which had been thrown a good 40 feet (at least)out of this pit with pin point accuracy

There's this dog that lives not far from me, on the way to the local shop. It's the only dog that will start barking at me when it sees me, no matter what I do. It usually startles me because now it seems he's started to wait a bit, to make me think, maybe he won't bark this time. Gets me every time since I'm usually deep in thought about something or other.

Made me think of this lol.

OP: Yeah my neighbor has two dogs and they always come to piss on my side of the yard. One day I'm gonna run out there dressed as a dog and piss on them. Not even kidding.

Yeah, I had a big dog start following me everywhere freaking me out with it's size. After 10 minutes I decided to look at the collar for a number to tell the owner, and I was successful. However, after confirming where to pick up his dog the dog decided not to follow me anymore so I had to chase the damn thing so it could eventually be found and so it wouldn't eat anyone.

That was really nice of you, reading that made me happy. I would probably do the same. Cats are different to dogs in that they just don't give a fuck typically. However if you saw that cat again it'd probably recognise you and show you affection (probably in hopes of more food) but after a while they start to love you and it's so rewarding.

"A dog will love you no matter what. A cat will have to think about it."

Can't remember who said it, but that's probably why I prefer cats.

OT: Erm there was one time I went to a field where there was loads of lambs and sheep because there was a guard Llama there. I just stood at the gate and all the lambs and sheep just flocked to me and started licking my hand. They got startled by all the motorbikes going past but I got to stroke a load of them and it was cute.
Cats and dogs like to run to me too. I must smell like food. :p

That's brilliant.

OT: I used to have a Springer Spaniel that barked exclusively at black people. His old owners were White Supremacists, and we think they were trying to train him as an attack dog.

He was actually really nice, though. Never hurt anyone.

Im sure they make a joke about that on family guy where brian barks at black people

Also on the same day as the gorilla incident there was also this little glass dome that goes under the tiger enclosure with room for one person so you can get really good photos. I dont like the idea of disturbing them in there enclosure i wouldnt be happy if someone popped up in my front room. but my dad is a keen photographer so he went in it and the tiger took a swipe at the glass. Bearing in mind we are scottish on holiday in florida He came out even paler than before we left scotland. He completely deserved it for disturbing them after i told him not to. Its amazing how big these animals are in person the gorilla was huge and the tigers paw was the diameter of a sideplate you dont really appreciate the relative size until you see it in person

Well if it was my dog, yeah, I'd think that, too, but it isn't. Dunno, maybe he's just very territorial, although he only barks at me that I know.

My dog has a crippling fear of (and pretty much anything)cats. If there is a cat on the door step it won't go in until the cat has moved.

I was walking my dog once pretty late in the evening, at least as far as walking dogs go (around 9:30, 10-ish). I was more than half way through my usual route when my dog all of a sudden lunges at this car parked against the curb and this fuzzy, brown blur dashes out and makes for a nearby tree (though a really young and small one, newly planted). I didn't get a really good look but from the size I thought it was a squirrel. Anyway it climbs up the tree, and then slips and falls on its back, and then tries again only to slip and fall again. At that point it gives up and just glares at us with its back arched and I realized it was a kitten. It proceeds to stare at us like that for a few seconds before it runs away.

Well, this is with my own cat, I'd consider it odd, because cat's are usually known to be pretty indifferent to their owners outside of domestic situations. Well, it seems that isn't quite true for my cat, at least, who I've always liked to think is especially friendly.

Well, I was walking with my little brother to my dad's house, who lives a couple of streets away from my mum, my cat, who I often let outside to explore the general area and...I dunno, fight other cats or something, sees us, runs out from a bush, and gives us an enthusiastic greeting, this has happened before, but when we tried to leave, she started to follow us, almost leading the way. She did this all the way to our dad's house, regarded my dad positively, we got what we needed, then she followed us all the back to my mum's.

It was cute, but seeing as it's so unfamiliar to see my cat crossing roads it was a little worrying at the same time. I had to keep convincing myself she probably dodges cars all the time.

Oh, and when I was younger, I was terrified of dogs, but I love them, now, thanks to my uncle's dog being so lovely. I got chased up a beach by a Dachshund. That must have been hilarious for the onlookers. I must have been about 4, but I remember the dog disliking the water, so when I spotted I tried to avoid it around a shallow pool as it watched me, it's owners were there, also. I remember biting the bullet and trying to make my way back to where my parents and brother (my younger brother wasn't born at the time) were.

Yup, as soon as it could make a beeline, the dog started running, so naturally, I ran, too, terrified. I remember looking back several times at the dog's face as I sprinted up the beach, I hope I wasn't screaming, but before I knew it I was hoisted up by my dad, and as soon as that happened, the dog was restrained by its owners.

That's my clearest memory from that age...

My pet rat Benny is a vocal mother fucker when you stop him from doing something he wants to do. Most rats don't make a noise when they are doing something naughty. They are smart animals and realize you have scalded them before for doing it. Benny cries wolf, acts like hes in pain. He makes these adorable little noises. Hes annoyed that I won't let him chew up my carpet so he can get into my closet. Hes a good rat in general. Shocked me when I went to pick him up, he started making little rat noises.

There was a dog on my way to the train station, who would only bark at me if I was lost in thought while passing his fence. He'd remain calm and quiet otherwise. I figured he was simply trained like this :)

My neighbours once had a dog who barked like mad at people if she saw them through the fence. If the gate was open, she'd just come over to get petted for a bit, and then left again.
There was a particularly funny encounter once, where my neighbours had left the gate half open (they did that sometimes). When I came home, the dog saw me directly and came over so I would pet her. After I went on, she went back to her yard and looked back. Only by then, I was so far that the fence was between us; she started barking like hell and ran straight towards the fence, with the open gate about 1m next to her. Really cracked me up.

Cats are evil...I'm not kidding, they mimic the sound of a crying baby just to get our attention. Nevertheless, you should remember that cats are all whores. They give you more satisfaction than a dog but once that $12 hooker has got her money, shes gone.

A random beagle once snuggled my ankles by a roadside. It was rather nice.

I remember one time I was on a train. At one point, a pigeon hopped on the train and rode it for a bit. It hadn't hopped on by accident, it wasn't panicking and looking for a way off. It stood by the door, waiting for it's stop. We actually passed a couple of stations and it stood aside to let people on. When we did reach it's stop, it didn't even fly out of the train. It hopped onto the platform, waddled around for a sec to make sure it was at the right stop, then took off.

Also there was this one time when I saw a bee trying to get through a glass pane to get through some flowers, even though it could have flown around the pane quite easily, the little guy bonked it's head against the glass like thirty times and then buggered off.
