I went on a date last night, which seemed to go well because she's up for a second one. :)

So far the only two welcome surprises I've had within the last month are being reminded that there's a LEGO movie coming out next year and finding this at Gamestop.

I learned that, in spite of my many absences and sub par "quiz grade", there's a good chance that I'll still be able to pass a course I was sure I was going to fail miserably.

Also it's Friday, so that's nice.

I just learned Funimation dubbed another season of Fairy Tail and just got the rights to dub all 175 episodes. Nice little surprise for me as my will to watch that show grinds to a halt when I watched it subbed.

Oooh, yay!
I have a bit of a problem watching sub so this is good news.
I did hear that after 100 and so episodes it gets a bit repetitive.
Know when any more English eps are out? I'm up to 72 I think.

OT: I usually get the opposite of nice surprises but I have just been to the boyfriends and he surprised me with an early Christmas present of about 200 MtG cards ^.^
I usually get nice surprises off him like candlelit dinners and chocolates under my pillow on a regular basis, which I suppose is better than a kick in the teeth :p
There is an unofficial dub up to 100 I think. It's at a site called Fairy Tail HQ. Just be warned it is not the best dub ever.

I really hope it doesn't get repetitive after 100. The last arc is the Grand Magic Games and I am really looking forward to that.

My dad made me listen to an album by Rupa and the April fishes who I thought I wouldn't like, but it turns out that I find their songs really enjoyable and easy to listen to. Also, I found one of the lost Doctor Who episodes while browsing on iTunes, specifically The web of fear, so I got to watch the very first time the Doctor meets the greatness that is Colonel (later Brigadier) Alastair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. I have watched it many times over already, which was a very nice and welcome surprise.

I got exactly the score I need on a presentation I've recently done to get a 2:1 grade on my degree, which I was pretty leased about. In other news I've been brewing some beer for the first time and it seems to have gone well so far, meaning in a couple of weeks I'll have 47 pints to drink, all for the measly cost of £30. And it will cost a lot less next time, probably around 25-50p a pint.

Not really much good news other than that, I'm pretty overworked at the minute :(

Oh no I agree with you. I love Charlie Hunnam in Sons & Pacific. I didn't want him to ruin his career in Fifty Shades.

Though I thought the hate he was getting from all sides wasn't fair, though.
Agreed about the hate. Though secretly...he was probably the very best choice they could have had (from what I've heard about the books at least). He's young enough to be pretty good looking but you could make him look old enough to do the gig and he's such a bad-ass that he could be believable in the domination thingy. Still glad that he got away though :)

sfjejejknelkjr can we be like, best friends or something? I completely agree with everything you are saying it's nuts *^*.

(And adding the female opinion to this, if people wanted to see him completely clothesless, that's what sons is for. He is almost no clothes every episode. Come on people. You can netflix that it's so easy.)

I found out that The Raid 2 got a teaser trailer. I lead a very dull life.

Here it is, and it's AWESOME. It's been a long time since I've been quite so excited for a film.

Semi pleasant surprise: I tried to get Bioshock Infinite from GreenManGaming, but it told me that my order didn't process and my account balance was unchanged, so I just left it. I got in on Steam afterwards, but after checking GMG again, it gave me the Bioshock Infinite key. I should have checked earlier to save some money, but on the bright side, I can give the key to a friend in the future.

Wait...what?

Just....what? Wha......HOW?!?!?

The Raid had a pretty open and shut story. Don't get me wrong, I'm intrigued since I thought it was good but I'm not sure what they plan on doing...

[small]Just kidding. My computer would probably start on fire if I attempted to run a game like that but a man can dream...[/small]

EDIT: Also, excuse the double post but I thought of that joke after writing my first post and I couldn't just let it go now could I?

I don't think 'welcome surprise' justifies how awesome it felt. I was opening three packs of magic cards. And I did it. I won life. Three mythic rares in a row.
Foil Stormbreath dragon
Stormbreath dragon
and
-something-, Nightmare Weaver.
I finally got around to try and push to get some sleeves for my decks so I can use the nightmare weaver.

Oh and Patient Zero keeps teasing his new album which'll probably be pretty sweet.
Though I'll be first to admit it that it seems a bit repetitive album with the two song teases.

They're making another one? Well that's a welcome surprise!

Otherwise, nothing much really. Performing sub-par in school because I'm trying to do too much too fast to be done by thanksgiving. Luckily, after christmas break I'll be able to adjust to a less stupidly-condensed schedule and go back to actually learning things rather than just hold in my brain long enough for the test then drop it.

To explain, I'm taking an add-on physics course because it is an entrance requirement to many schools I'm applying to. Scheduling and administrative shenanigans didn't let me even try to get started until october and college finals with the sat II kept me from really starting until this week. And I can barely understand the instructor who I can only see twice a week because of a super-heavy accent (av 14 all around and "it will not die"). I pray I'll get an introductory physics course freshman year. I'll never progress down those paths without it. For now I just pray I'll pass.

I received my order of Concentrated Apple Flavoring and Xylitol today. I didn't expect to get it for a while (I didn't even know it had been shipped!) and so I'm ready to flavor the Hard Cider I'm maing when its ready.

Well, I've just found out that the area that my group randomly chose for our presentation in 4 weeks contains my favourite psychological theory. That maintaining close proximity with a person or thing will increase your attraction. The presentation is on interpersonal attractions. It means I'll get to abuse the hell out of the song "What is Love" and get marks for it :D
