I just had a major lag spike in terms of getting The Escapist to load for me. Anyone else having this issue?

FYI, I'm the kind of person GG would hate. I don't see much wrong with the press, think everything's gotten overblown and am very much in the camp that believes gaming makes use of seriously troubling tropes. I also think that Anita and Zoe have been hounded far beyond reason and this whole mess has been despicable. In relation to that last point, things have gotten so vitriolic lately that I'm no longer surprised. Someone was mailed a syringe while they were in the midst of all this. Ahh, I see then. That thread was quite benign from what I read though, if they are targeting you over that, I hardly even know what to say. It also means the attack is much more sophisticated than simple DDoS, as that is usually the work of a teenager downloading dodgy code from an internet dive bar/forum, and running it. This is odd.
