And what an exciting year it has been, The Ashes were won by England, The Copenhagen summit, Obama realises that presidency is hard, Tiger Woods got publicly boned, Gordon Brown sucks, Nick Griffin on question time, the RATM Facebook boycott of the Xmas number one, and other funky things happened.

However, what was the most boring, irrelevant story that ever got in the media this year?

I would have to go with news that, well, that 'Telford', the town where I live, was labelled as a 'Chav City' on a website, and the local paper went bat-shit bonkers. And the website? Uncylcopedia.com. That's right, they went ape over a comedy site.... What are researchers paid for again?
